Full job description
The main duties of the night bus are to take home students and union staff from the student union late at night ensuring their safety and wellbeing. We also provide a delivery service for food donations to homeless shelters.
You will be required to run the bus to a timetable ensuring safe transportation of members and staff of LUU at all times. You will be taking fares from passengers and cashing up at the end of shift, ensuring following all current LUU finance procedures.
You will also be making vehicle checks and ensuring faults and damage are reported to the duty manager immediately. Full training is provided of what to spot and how to fill out vehicle checks.
We require 1 driver who already holds a MIDAS certificate for an immediate start. For the 3 positions available starting in September we would prefer you to have a MIDAS certificate but we are able to provide training for the successful candidate if you do not hold it already.
