Publishing media is a coursework based degree so although it is great you have no exams, you do get a lot of coursework. In the first year you learn about the publishing industry as a whole and is so useful for your second and third year where you choose your modules. The lecturers really look after you and all know everything you need to know about publishing. They help you with cvs, and set up one on one meetings if you need help.

Wonderful course and good teaching, really sets you up for your APC 2 years after graduating. Lecturers are also very flexible around sporting commitments which has been invaluable.

Foundational Legal Skill is useful as it provides comprehensive knowledge of reading cases, understanding layout of Law reports and general terminology that is not common knowledge.

It is useful and helps you feel more confident when 'tricky words' are used.

Module is mixed it's okay but many of my course mates agree it is not relevant to us when we are about to graduate and we should have done a different topic

This is hands-down the best psychology module at Brooke's and is one of the only modules like it in universities in the U.K. The module doesn't just look at areas of psychology but the journey and development of psychology is examined and discussed, not only this but big ideas and big questions within psychology and discussed and appreciated. The module is therefore very complex but if you put in the work it will be the best module you will take. Topics in the module include: artificial intelligence, whether humans have choice or not, the comparative perspective on human development, the revolution of the cognitivists, what is science and what shapes how we do it. Would highly recommend.

Criminal law is a lot of fun. It involved situations that you hear about daily, see on the news and on tv. The module covers non-fatal offences (e.g. assault, battery, ABH, GBH) and fatal offences (e.g. murder and manslaughter). You will come across a number of interesting cases and defences and surpassingly won't want to put your book down

Main reason I enjoyed the module was the trip itself, although at the time it was very challenging it was overall enjoyable. The assessment was okay, I feel the spreadsheet marking could have been more in depth than lose 10% for every mistake. I spent a lot of time on the timings section with comments which didn't seem to affect the mark at all at the end. Also thought my mark for the report would have been higher, think the marking throughout the class was a little harsh in comparison to other modules.

This was the module that inspired me to stick at the course! The lead lecturer was enthusiastic and inspiring (to the point that I took a place in his department for the final year project). The module content was relevant, covering all aspects required to understand papers and topics in the field and in future modules.

This course is interesting and attractive to every student that is highly interested in Finance. The lecturer is very close to the students, we have a weekly debate about a current issue in The financial world.
