Overall this unit was incredibly easy, short and straight to the point. It was easy because I had all the resources I needed and the lecturer provided everyone in the class with constant support. She ran sessions dedicated to making sure everyone had the right content and everyone uploaded the work in time and correctly. This is a well taught assignment with good content and help from the lecturers.

Fashion buying and visual merchandising at Southampton Solent is a good but challenging course. Within the first units we were taught about the supply chain of a company and asked to do a report which consisted of how the supply chain works and how it could be improved within a business. Another unit we had to do was creating a capsule range for a retail business which led us to using market research and evaluation of a fashion store for a report. These two units I feel could have been taught better With more Indepth seminars and less videos. Although I feel these units were both quite challenging And could be less with more guidance by tutors. The new units that I am currently doing in term two seem more interesting and creative. I feel as though these units are being taught better and broken down more which has helped a lot. We also have worked in groups which was quite key for presentation skills. I think this course is quite complex and a lot if you don't pay attention or go to lesson. However if you go in and get feedback then it will be easier and less stressful. I think if also the teachers were more focused of getting improvement and really giving Indepth feedback it would help. Overall I would say I didn't enjoy the course in the beginning because I felt lost, overwhelmed and in supported by tutors but Now I feel like my projects are more creative and engaging which really encourages me to feel inspired by the project. This course is a lot of work and time but is quite fun!

This module was one of my favorite at uni. The lecturer was very enthusiastic about marketing and was very knowledgeable. The content of the unit was very interesting, and all of the lecture notes were put up onto MyCourse and also given to every student in a handbook, which was very useful to have.

I personally, did not find the unit too difficult, it was pretty easy to follow, and the lecturer was always on hand if any questions needed to be asked. The assessment for this unit was an exam, which was not too difficult, as long as you revised, and then a presentation. The lecturer allowed us to show our presentation a week before the actual date, just to give us quick feedback and any help and guidance to make it better for the real thing, which was really useful.

I really enjoyed this unit, as I felt the teaching was very good and the unit itself was interesting.

Were 3 different assignments which made up this unit. The research proposal was very useful for planning our dissertation for final year. However, the data based assignment seemed irrelevant to what we were learning, plus I felt I learned nothing from that unit and didn't really understand what I was doing, with the tutor not being too helpful. The other assignment was useful, but the marking criteria was very harsh.

by far the worst unit i have in my timetable. although some of the legal aspects of the unit are useful i found it to be mostly like being in a school English lesson. on the first day the lecturer went over the differences between; there, their and they're...... this is university and if you don't know that already you shouldn't be here. Its mainly teaching you writing skills like how to write letters and essays (despite everyone having written hundreds to get to uni!). a complete waste of time in my opinion

Contract law is a fundamental part of law that it is in bits of our lives that hadn't occurred to us. Cases are great to learn as each is different and help the understanding of the stages to achieve a binding contract. The forms of assessment are quite difficult at times as there can be a lot of information to consider when trying to answer the questions.

This module was a personal favourite of the first semester as before coming to university I had already touched upon this in my level 3 BTEC and it was something I found very interesting and an important but often hidden part of the game we know and love. this module teaches you the ins and outs of how society and football change within eachother, social acts can effect parts of football and aspects of football have changed our society, you will learn about social class and how it impacts the and, race and ethnicity, sex and gender, you'll strip football back to is heritage and see how and why the sport is what it is now, this module would delivered well and had some key resources for us to use along with guest speakers, for me this was the best module of semester 1
