The course is quite laid back but is extremely informative and engaging. Producing radio shows, television shows and multiple interviews in both the medium of tv and radio really help students to gain a greater understanding of what the media industry is like. The lecturers are helpful in certain occasions but there are two in specific who should be educated in what it should be like to teach in the education industry.

Production seems to be better in semester two; the weekly assignments that test and experiment with the basics of filmmaking, such as shot composition, good sound recording and editing have been far more enjoyable.

A highly engaging module which examines in depth the pathology of the blood. In this module you will be assessed through a written exam which will cover the topics of Anemia, Blood Transfusion, Thrombosis, Hemophilia, Leukemia and immune Thrombocytopenia. This module will increase your knowledge of our own blood system, in combination with lab practicals you will be given the chance to examine blood smears to identify blood pathology.

This can be an uncomfortable module to listen due to having to find out about child abuse however it is also interesting in the way in which cases are handled, the support out there for both teachers and parents, what schools do to safeguard children. This was a module in which researching and writing an assignment about was not difficult due to there being so much information out there. This module was well taught to me and we had more than enough information taught to us to complete hot assignment.

This is probably the worst module in the course and is not enjoyed by anyone. I really don't see any need for it amd do not want to waste hours of time a week to do this. It os a relevant part of the course and we do the same as a group as we do when we have tutorials one on one.

Games design at stafford uni has been a fun three years the modules are varied and there's a lot of freedom in paths you can focus on. The first year is standard across most of the games courses to give you a taste of everything, and gives you an optional module to pick up something you want to try. All of my optional modules have been animation and they've been great, one of the lecturers actually wrote an animation module for the third year so that we could continue with animation in third year, starting from this year. All of the lecturers are really willing to help and make life incrediby easier. Definitely a course I would complete again.

My film degree has some of the best tutors around, with most of them having personal film experience in the industry it is so useful to help us be able to find our own way in the industry. As well as this we cover many great topics in film as well as filming itself like the business side which for me is very useful. I like the course that Staffordshire University has to offer as it has lots of on hand work as well reports and verbal assessments which helps everyone. Although as the course is moving to a different campus I have found some things which I need support with difficult as there isn't anyone at the campus to speak to and we have to speak to the other campus and I feel the university is missing a lot of facilities which other universities may have.

As I am currently in my first year, I am still exploring all aspects of my course, but so far, I am enjoying the immediate access to industry-standard technology and programs. While there could perhaps be more prompt feedback on assignments, once received it is constructive and helps further my learning on this course.

The BA Education course is a good course to embark on if wanting to become a primary school teacher in either upper or lower primary. There are placements which allow you to experience what it would be like in different year groups and allows you to feel potential in yourself in becoming a teacher. Once completing the course you then have the option to progress into a PGCE course allowing you to become a newly qualified teacher and having you're own classroom. There are good lecturers who support you with all your assignments and are always an email away when needing assistance. This is generally a course work based course which can be useful if some people hate exams and crack under pressure!

I enjoy my degree however the placement is very tiring and don't give us enough time to do our work around it. A lot of students are mature and have families therefore group assignments can be very difficult in this scenario. All of the tutors are lovely amd will provide you with any help and what to do in difficult situations if you ask.
