Ba architecture is a 3 year course that forms Part 1 of 3 stages of becoming a qualified architect. First year is about learning the basics of creative drawing and model making which the mark does not count in the final marking. Second year is more about learning and developing software skills and starting to work on architectural projects. This contributes 25% of the final marking. Final year contributes 75% of the final marking and this is the year where you can show full potention of detailed drawings and renders.

I have enjoyed maths at degree level more than before. I learnt new applications of maths in the real world such as creating bar codes as an example. The degree is structured into compulsory courses and optional courses. Some courses are 100% coursework and others are 50% exam/coursework. The variety of courses available to me enabled me to pick the courses that I would enjoy and get good marks on. I prefer exams to coursework so most of my courses had an exam. There are maths societies which you can join and at my university there is a Monday Maths Arcade which is a session for maths puzzles, games and fun. I definitely saw a different side to Maths at degree level.

Overall a degree that I've enjoyed during my time studying it. I've been here during a time of constant improvement - New buildings, facilities, equipment, etc. so it's been interesting but has also meant I have had to do a lot of learning in my own time in order to make the fullest use of the new developments. Most lecturers have been very helpful and the sound department has definitely improved significantly which led to me now specialising in sound design. I've just completed my third year and the sound students have already been invited back for a sound concert in November which demonstrates to me a pro-active approach with alumni.

The architecture is gorgeous and there are a lot of on campus filmimga for great movies and almost every weeks students can see celebrities and big people right on our campus!! The tea hers are great people, experienced with a very iseful insight into the industry. The student union is a nice place to hang out, have some lunch and just chill between lectures. I love that there is so much diversity in terms of students but staff as well ! The new Stockwell Library is my fVourite! Third floor always quite and perfect for writing a dissertation for example:)). Overall, i am happy I chose Greenwich!!!! Totally recommend.

The ways of teaching are very thoughtful and in depth for every student. This is particularly important during essay and exams season. Also, the university's lecturers go to great lengths to ensure that there is always revision workshops which is great.

The teaching is really good on my course, the lectures are always willing to help with any course related problems. That atmosphere is relaxing as its near river Thames and exciting as time to time there are professional film crews filming at the Greenwich Campus. I really enjoy my course and once I graduate, will miss going to Greenwich University.

I enjoyed macroeconomics mainly because of the person teaching it, and because she was able to grab our attention to current news data. It is important, to learn how to analyze for example, the FT articles, in order to be able to understand the links behind the scenes in economics.

The course is structured well, with a good broad range of content, covering both mathematical problems (relating to the transportation of solids), as well as more general descriptive content. The course is taught by 4 tutors, all of whom are friendly and helpful. One aspect which may not suit all students is that the course is weighted 20% coursework and 80% exam.
