I love the diversity of joint study. I am able to learn aspects from both film and drama that help me grow my knowledge for performing as well as creative/historic elements. I like the length of the seminars and lecture, as they give me the appropriate time to grasp a concept but not too long to where I loose interest. I enjoy how many classes I have and the structure of seminar and lectures.

The Design Realisation module enables students to further research their design project and assess its viability, build-ability and technical validity. It produces a report that is recognized by leading practices in architecture and is an asset for interviews.

A course that offered a great summary of some of the most important tools of microeconomics, it covered:General Competitive Equilibrium, Welfare Economics, Game Theory, Information Economics and Risk and Uncertainty.

The course was well taught and it offered sufficient depth into a variety of micro economic topics whilst still offering awesome breadth.

Really enjoyed the module. The Lecturer showed passion for the course and proved that if he has dedication to the course that the students will aswell. Content of the course involves learnimg Statistics with programmes such as SPSS as well as stat key. The main content of the Module is based around experiments and learning how to conduct one which in my opinion can be redundunt as most will have done thid at A-Level. You are assessed through a series of Multiple choice tests, one exam and one essays. The course can be very difficult to some if you find it difficult to do maths as much of the Stats test will involve using Formulas.

We had to create a recording of a voice over, a recording of an acoustic instrument (guitar/piano) and vocal and an unmixed recording of a drum kit as well as a mixed recording of a drum kit. The tasks involved in this included; being able to use the recording desk, being able to use the mixing desk, choice of microphones, microphone placement, the use of Pro Tools and being to use various plugins as well as your ear to enhance your recording to its full potential.

The module investment mathematics had a huge content and was not specified in just one area. It was broad and fuzzy some times. The learning material was that much that we had 4 extra lectures to achieve to cover the whole material and the exercises corresponding to that material. The lecturer was very good.

Although I'm only halfway through my degree, I have so far found it very interest and varied, with what I think is a good balance between individual and group assignments and examinstions. The lecturers know what they're talking about and are more than happy to provide you with additional reading which is useful for writing assignments. Although there are limited resources in my opinion other than the lecture notes, most lecturers will open an online forum which makes it easier to discuss the lecture topics in depth with other students and the lecturer.

The course has been very challenging. One issue that concerns me is working in groups. Some guys are either uninterested or lazy so it is sometimes hard to work with those people.Moving on to my major problem which is time management. We have different assignments, projects, tutorials and presentations that I have to prepare for and/or read for therefore the difficulty is obvious. The lecturers have been friendly and very open to questions and complaints so that's good.

It is a really interesting course, surprisingly challenging for those that have not done A Level maths, but as long as you keep on top of it you'll be fine. Great choice of modules.
