Although I'm only halfway through my degree, I have so far found it very interest and varied, with what I think is a good balance between individual and group assignments and examinstions. The lecturers know what they're talking about and are more than happy to provide you with additional reading which is useful for writing assignments. Although there are limited resources in my opinion other than the lecture notes, most lecturers will open an online forum which makes it easier to discuss the lecture topics in depth with other students and the lecturer.

So worth doing the foundation year as prepares you for your first year and also to the standards as to what is required at university. The teachers are good and understanding and will always help you if you have a query with anything

The course has been very challenging. One issue that concerns me is working in groups. Some guys are either uninterested or lazy so it is sometimes hard to work with those people.Moving on to my major problem which is time management. We have different assignments, projects, tutorials and presentations that I have to prepare for and/or read for therefore the difficulty is obvious. The lecturers have been friendly and very open to questions and complaints so that's good.

It is a really interesting course, surprisingly challenging for those that have not done A Level maths, but as long as you keep on top of it you'll be fine. Great choice of modules.

Love it at Hull University going into my second year and first year was a lot better then can ever imagine. Psychology as a course so far has been the challenge that it promises to be but the first year allows you to have freedom to find yourself. The exams and assesments are split into two sections exams and essays. essays due around about one month before the exams in January and May respectively. Hull university seem to focus a lot on Clinical and biological psychology at the moment. They seem to be on top of the field when it comes to where the course is going therefore gives students a great chance of future prospects

I find my course thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys music production while still looking for a way to be creative at the same time. In my first year I have studied modules including Electronic Composition, Studio Production, Creative Music Skills and The Critical Analysis of Music. Among these modules we used a variety of different programs such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live and Kontakt to name a few. The modules provided challenges ranging from essay writing to creating your own software instruments using samples created yourself. The equipment at Hull is second to none with two recording desks, a countless supply of industry standard microphones amongst other equipment, a 24/7 mac lab complete with riches of software and the brand new Middleton hall due to be complete in September 2017. I could not recommend my course highly enough.

My degree allows me to study all aspects of law, and hull is equipped with excellent facilities to help me do so. One thing I would change is for tutors to have more office hours so that more one to one contact can be explored if needs be, especially during periods with lots of deadlines and exams.

Very interesting course which covers lots of different aspects of the law from land law to family law. Plenty of online support through ebridge which means you get all your lecture notes and slideshows at ease and are able to access them at all times. Well taught and enjoyable.

This could be an interesting course, however the support given by the lecturer in preperation for the exam is shocking. The majoirty of us walked into the exam with no idea what to expect. Then when we sat down, one of the questions the question we had tackled for our essay, with us thinking this wouldn't come up as we had already been assessed on it. Overall, lazyily put together and will not be taking another module from the business school.

Networking was arguably the best module to date, since it's content and assessment layout made doing the module more interesting than others have been. The ability to check your work against a series of tests designed to show you how good or bad your work was meant improvement over time was almost guaranteed with each lab session. Feedback from lecturers and demonstrators was also helpful and allowed you to see where you were going wrong and fix the errors. The games architecture part was helpful to show how working in a games company could be, albeit in a much smaller scale, but seeing how a game works and is networked with other games for multiple players was very insightful for those thinking of a career in this industry.
