Nightlife

Keele University Students' Union (KeeleSU) is at the heart of campus life.

The entertainments team work really hard to provide a fantastic line-up of entertainment, hosting major artists as well as those we think will be really big.

Popular seasonal events include the Freshers' Ball, Halloween Ball, Winterfest, an impressive Refreshers' line-up, and the fabulous summer party, Woodstoke, to round off the academic year.

Halls of residence

As a campus university, Keele has over 2,800 bedrooms on site, with a range of accommodation available to suit different lifestyles and budgets, all within a short walk of the centre of campus.

There are a number of rooms (without an en-suite) for students who wish to stay in single-sex accommodation.

Students can specify on their application if they have any dietary requirements, but are also advised to contact Disability and Dyslexia Support for more advice.

Location

With so much on offer locally you'll be spoilt for choice and will get to enjoy the benefits of both a campus community and exciting town and city area to explore.

The closest town to campus offers a student-friendly high street, modern shopping area, four big supermarkets within walking distance of the bus station, and a market four times a week selling everything from fruit to furniture.

The centre of town boasts an eight screen Vue cinema, bowling and entertainment complex, plus plenty of restaurants, bars and pubs. Close to the centre are the Jubilee2 swimming pool and sport centre and the New Vic Theatre.

The course is challenging but there is a lot of support from the uni. lecturers are friendly. there are lots of reflective portfolios to do which can get repetitive. The modules are interactive which makes the learning easier and more interesting.

Brilliant university, good range of placements for mental health nursing and good support from personal tutors and lecturers if needed, very understanding.
