The university along with the vibrant city in general, is student friendly with a sense of convenience to all key areas across the city. The staff team go far and beyond their threshold to make sure that the student would have a stress free and memorable experience.

Good university, lots of open space and quiet study rooms. Facilities are good and courses are structured well.

University itself is not in a bad shape, constantly rebuilding. The science department is very restricted, most of lectures just include someone standing and reading word by word of a slide. Students union is just a joke, an even bigger joke is the SU bar that has mould all over the place and ridiculously overpriced items on menu. Not enough parking on the campus, and obviously once again crazily overpriced...

Great experience at Salford nearly finished my time here, which is so sad, however this was the best experience of my life and would love to do it all over again, because of Salford.

Salford isn’t that much of a good university from a prestigious view, but it works hard helping students gain more vocational experience to fight this. The university it’s self is lovely and the most part modern and new however there isn’t much to do or a student vibe in Salford compared to the other universities in Manchester.

The campus is very new and the facilities are very clean. I do broadcast journalism and the course I find is very interesting the essays are quite hard but the facilities we have access to are great. As an extra you can get involved in quays which is the same as a tv studio. The student union is good there is something different on each night. I would defiantly say join a society so you can make friends who are similar to you as it can be quite hard.

It’s amazing. The campus is beautiful and modern, and close to a wonderful park and Manchester. The student union has great events and cheap drinks, and there are plenty of decent local pubs too. The tutors and professors generally do care about your education and are constantly there to help.

The campus is a small, compact campus - however it had everything you need. Numerous accommodation buildings within a 5 minute walk, a Student Union to enjoy both a drink and some food, or a coffee. A gym with a swimming pool, sauna and spa. Finally, all of your academic support, for example lecture halls, seminar rooms, computer rooms, private study rooms, library, and many more. With everything just a short distance from each other, you’re never at a loss.

Great facilities at the university, especially the newer buildings including the library. The student union could do with more events or have more going on. Course lecturers are amazing and often get specialists coming into lecture on topics. Overall a good uni

Modern nursing facilities and good teaching. Plenty of space to study around campus, apart from main library is quite far away from nursing campus which means I use it less regularly than I probably would if it was onsite. The course for nursing could be more organised as student often kept in the dark about what elements of their course or timetable are coming up.

I'm studying Quantity Surveying which is mainly in the peel park campus. The peel park campus is great, the library which has recently been refurbished is nice and spacious and modern.

The campus is all close together which is easy to access for everybody, as well as having great transport options too and from the university. The tutors for my course are mostly extremely helpful and there is always somebody to go to if you have any problems or queries.

Salford Uni is truly a place that is ran by students, for students. With facilities that allow individuals to fully prepare for their chosen industry, the environment and teachers offer a true industry experience which doesnt just start at third year but rather on the first day. Salford is truly a great place to study!

I'm a student in the media and arts department, which means my course is based on the media city campus. It's a state of the art campus, being linked to the BBC and ITV makes it perfect for someone aspiring to make it into the industry. The facilities within the university are top notch. They have industry standard camera, sound, and editing equipment, as well as industry level editing suites suitable for all forms of media.

Amazing campus, everything is all in walking distance (other than media city but students are given free bus journey to media city whenever by showing their uni ID). My tutor has been amazing throughout my first semester, helping me settle in and ease into the course and living away from home!

The university provides a wonderful range of exciting courses with a vast amount of industry links available to those who want to advance further.

A very good university. Good facilities e.g. a news studio that will help set us up for a future career. The course is taught extremely well and the resources we have for independent study are clear and varied. The lecture theatres are big enough to have your own space but also small enough so you can really get involved in a class debate. The student union is very cheap and serves nice food. It hosts a lot of events which gives us the chance to meet other people.

I have studied my undergraduate degree here at Salford University and I have just embarked on studying my Masters. The library is a great place, with many facilities available, and lots of help at hand. There are lots of helpful guides and support services to help with studies. It is also open 24 hrs, which is definitely good when deadlines are coming up. There is lots of space for group and individual study. The student union is well priced, with various drinks and food offers on during the week. There are also events on occasionally which are really good when you need a break. I have enjoyed my time at Salford and found whilst studying my masters my personal tutor has been a fantastic support from day one.

I am studying broadcast journalism here and I am in my second year. I love the course. It's very hands on and consists of essay work and practical which gets you ready for the industry. Most of my lectures are at media city which is a beautiful place right in the middle of all media groups such as ITV and BBC. I have been part of Shock Radio in my first year and attempted to carry on in my second year however with my course being very hands on I've had to postpone it. But my experience in shock radio has been amazing- loads of socials and everyone's happy to help with your show and ideas. Overall I think I've picked the right uni for me and my goals.
