A humorous guide of things NOT TO DO at your graduation ceremony! Some of the stupid things people have done at theirs is unreal...

July is here and for all you third and fourth years that means graduation is just around the corner! A grand celebration of success as your years of moderately hard work are rewarded with a piece of paper and handshake. However, what is meant to be a joyous occasion is often tainted by the thought of leaving the uni-lifestyle and entering the big bad world, usually without the foggiest idea of what to do next.

Fortunately, at Hut Stuff we have drawn on the experience of all those previous graduation ceremonies from around the world and come up with a guide on how to avoid the trauma of looking like a muppet on the big day! It's the first day of being all grown up, your family members are likely to be there and everything is filmed, so it's best you just stick to the set routine and try your very best not to do something stupid.

1) As I said, The trick is not to do anything stupid... or clumsy!

2) Resist the urge to take an epic selfie

3) Just because your graduating doesn't mean you're as cool as Jay-Z

4) DOn't be Cocky, and balls up the ceremony for everyone else...

5) These guys look a little too proud of their Arts and crafts effort

6) And remember not everyone will be as excited about graduation as you

7) Don't infringe on Health and Safety Regulations at Anglia Ruskin...

8) Honesty isn't always the best policy

It was this guy... If you care!

9) Well, He's Clearly not graduating from Oxford

10) ALWAYS FILL IN YOUR OWN YEARBOOK

11) And when you do, you don't have to show off your Northern roots

12) Seriously, you aren't actually required to Act like a numpty just because it's graduation...

13) Even if your university doesn't have a formal graduation dress code, that doesn't make it acceptable to go as Double Bass or a Mummy...

14) Being the hottest day of the summer is still no excuse for this...

15) And finally, try to hide the fact that after three years of study, your specialist subject is Ring of Fire...

Happy graduation! Welcome to the real world...
