Find out which charitable societies there are at your uni and get involved, do a sponsored activity or give blood. Just do something for free this year to give a little something back to society. We guarantee it’ll feel great!
WATCH A WHOLE TV SERIES IN A DAY
...Okay so maybe we’ll give you a week! You'll miss this comfy little uni bubble once you graduate, so make the most of every moment. Binge watch your favourite show or try something new. Maybe it’s finally time to jump on the Game of Thrones bandwagon?
EAT YOUR BODY WEIGHT IN PIZZA
Okay so we know that almost everyone does this during their time at uni anyway. This year you should make the most of your speedy metabolism and the awesome student pizza deals on offer and have a pizza extravaganza where you and your friends fill your bellies, and your hearts, with joy. Pizza is life after all.
GET SOME EXERCISE
Following on from the last, totally immature suggestion, this year is also a great time to get yourself moving. Whether you join the gym, a sports club or simply take up jogging, it’s never a bad idea to get yourself fit and healthy. ESPECIALLY after a pizza binge…
STAY AWAKE UNTIL THE SUN COMES UP
You should definitely be up all night at least once during your time at uni. It's simply a rite of passage. It’s just up to you whether you’re awake because you’re out partying or because you’re frantically trying to finish that assignment you've left until the very last moment...
DISCOVER YOUR SIGNATURE DISH
So you probably (hopefully!) mastered the basics of cooking during your first year. Now you’re a pro, it’s time to discover, and perfect, your own personal signature dish. There’s just something so flattering about being told you make the best bolognaise around.
GO ON TOUR
Be it with your teammates, your housemates, your coursemates or your society friends, this year should be the year you go on tour. Take yourselves off to somewhere exciting, sample the fascinating local culture (*cough* beer) and make some incredible memories!
Hear us out! We know that studying for a degree is hard and tiring and we know it often involves a lot of reading. But try reading just one book that isn’t related to your degree. Read for your own personal development; to unwind, to broaden your knowledge or to pursue a new interest. And if that doesn't really appeal, you could totally just re-read Harry Potter!
