Do you fancy injecting a bit of culture into your life, before heading back to the world of £1 Jägerbombs and mouldy kitchen counters? Then get yourself to the 'Big Smoke' and make the most of your student status.

The National Portrait Gallery Youth Forum

Whilst, not an exhibition itself, by joining the forum you get early and free access to exhibitions at the gallery, including the famous BP Portrait Award.

You have to be 14-21 years old to join (so get in there quick) and attend a meeting each month – definitely worth it for the benefits.

Frida Kahlo at the V&A

Everyone has been talking about the Frida Kahlo exhibition this year, as she single-handedly tackles gender boundaries and norms, thereby enlivening liberalists across London.

Get yourself down to see this amazing lady and do it with a National Student Art Pass, to get 50% off.

National Student Art Pass

These things go like hot cakes and are only available at certain times, so get online in September to nab yours for this year, for only £5!!

This handy little pass will also get you discounts at the Tate Britain, Royal Academy of Art, The Hayward Gallery and loads more, across London and the UK.

If that doesn’t make you want to happy dance, I don’t know what will.

Finally, don’t forget that we are more than lucky when it comes to accessible art, as most of London’s main galleries are actually free, just the installations are pricey.

That said, you have no excuses. Get going.
