The location is fine, I would prefer the Student Village on a whole to be ideally closer to the university however it is in a quiet area and away from private residences so noise is not an issue. The rooms themselves are perhaps a little old-fashioned but do the job. Some of our kitchen appliances can be a bit temperamental but the showers and toilets are always clean. I would love to have an en suite but obviously this can not always be possible. The free parking is great and the shop is handy.

I enjoyed stat Ng in these halls, as I had a large room, good kitchen and made a lot of friends. The communal areas were really good for making friends and were kept in good conditions.

Beat halls to meet people! Very social especially in freshers week. Tv room was key to making friends. Get passed the shared bathroooms it’s not too bad, they get cleaned daily. Also kitchens are good sized and cleaned on weekdays.

I like my spacious room and that every day there is a cleaning lady who cleans the mess in the kitchen, toilets, showers and in the hallway. I also like the location, there is still something going on and I live the central building with study rooms, bar and the small store. It's also quite close to uni and close to the beach. The TV room is the best for parties. However, there are also some negative sides of living here. For example, it is far away from the city center, so when we are going out, we have to take a taxi or go by bus, because otherwise it would be almost one hour long walk. The price for a room, and shared facilities and kitchen with eight different people is not very too expensive. You can hear everybody walking in the hallway, because you have quite big space under the door.

Fyfe house was an amazing experience it looked a little like a prison cell but the rooms and kitchens were pretty nice, the shower facilities were good and the people were great. Would recommend considering the cheap price compared to the others

Way overpriced for the facilities and quality you get. Very loud, often hard to sleep. Good social experience though, and walking distance to uni.

Not a very pretty building but it has everything I need. There are lots of facilities in hillhead hub and I have really enjoyed living here.

Paying a lot more than most of my friends for a lot less. ‘Social room’ was mostly unused, with just a few old sofas. The layout of these halls is literally based on a prison and you could tell! The hoover for my floor went missing and was never replaced.

Less social than I thought it would be for halls. The TV room social area is a plus however. The kitchen could have a better cooker but there is lots of space
