Wavell House

Hillhead is a wonderful place to start the student life. It offers thousands of opportunities to socialise and meet new people from uni, mostly freshers, although it is located quite far from the city center, but still close to Aberdeen Uni.

Overall a great place to reside in during your first year. Affordable price (the cheapest amongst all), cleaning Monday - Friday (kitchen, toilets and showers), great social environment, kitchens with personal lockers. It sometimes gets noisy but since most people are first year students it is expected. The Wi-Fi is sometimes slow but you can fix it with Ethernet. There's also a small shop right in Hillhead Central building where you can buy food and other stuff. Rooms are great as well.

Was an okay place. People made it better but due to communal kitchen things got stolen as expected but also things were stolen out of rooms.Keep doors shut abd locked at all times.

Wavelength house needs to be upgraded - it is not as modern as others and the social experience I have found wasn't as great. Many others see their flat mates constantly and become friends however I don't see mine and found couldn't build friendships. The room is nice and a good size.

Very spacious rooms and kitchens, a huge plus is the sink in the room and the fact that shared areas get cleaned on weekdays.
