I would say the heights location is good as it is a 15 minute walk into the city centre. You have Staniforth house across the street literally, the social experience during freshers week was Awesome as well. As you can meet and interact with others next door or on the floor above. However my room, that’s another case. My room was a lot smaller than I expected for he money I was paying plus as well since the passing of winter I’ve been having reoccurring water problems. Overall, I would stay here again but just not in the same room I was in.

I would say that even though the accommodation is nice, it does come with a few problems. One of the issues is that the WiFi has a tendency too be very on and off.

I like living here , there's a good gym and common room and the staff are friendly . THE only problem I've had living here is the lift breaking every few weeks. Other then that there's been a number of events and parties where you can easily meet new friends. The location is also really great it's a few minute walk to the city centre and close to all of the universities

Good accommodation, helpful staff and good facilities. Good location, very nice kitchen and the room layout is perfect

first of all, the photographs are miss leading. If you’re in B block the beds are all single, but room sizes vary in each block. For example D block rooms are twice the size of B blocks and you will pay the exact same price as them, which I find unfair. The bathrooms are a decent size, however, my hot water stopped working for a whole month, and the shower ended up dispensing black water. My kitchen floor had damp in it and it was raised in the middle of the kitchen. The security can be extremely rude and disrespectful. However the reception staff are lovely and try to put on many events with food and to be all inclusive to all the people living within the heights. I would say for first yeahs it’s okay, not desirable, but it will do.

I was located on the ground floor. The room was a decent size and had all the basics. The location was good, close the city centre. My flat mates were nice, quiet but there was people always shouting outside my window or sitting on my window seal smoking. The staff didn’t do much about it. Overall, the location was good but these halls were overpriced for what you get.

The heights has a great night life always lots of people wanting to go out or have a party, the rooms and kitchen are quite nice and the staff are polite, they also leave you alone it's a very independent halls compared to others.

The rooms are okay but the construction opposite is incredibly annoying. Lots of free food, activities, etc which is good. Decent support but the post is shit. Only 10 min to town centre and the city centre campus which is nice.

If organised though the uni there can be a reduced price which is worth it (this year i pay £126 instead of £135) but only available for 1st year and maybe only through BCU. Next year I've got a single room (there are 12 in the accomodation rest are 3/4) which is £125 a week otherwise there has been a huge hike in price to £149 a week. Great location close to town and unis, plenty of social events organised even if not always successful. One social room for the whole accomodation was two but no longer. WiFi is either great or really not and heating/hot water has had faults but maintenence sort out quickly. Blocks C and D are older meaning the rooms vary in size usually meaning they are larger than the newer blocks. Other blocks have the rooms featured on website.

Located a 15 minute walk away from the city campus, the location of The Heights is very ideal for those who would prefer a quick commute. Only a few of the blocks of flats have 3/4 sized beds - so be aware of this before booking. Whilst they have security, The Heights is particularly easy to access which is quite concerning when it is located on a random street rather than within the proximity of the other residential halls. Price wise, The Heights is very expensive for what it is and they don’t seem to offer many perks or student activities meaning their isn’t a sense of community.

Absolutely awful; cleaners that can’t clean, rude reception staff and dirty flats are all part of the experience. I dare contact security, else you might be made out as if you are lying! Really gone down hill since it was taken over from Unite. Will be living with Unite instead next year.

Quick to fix any issues. Have a double studio which is really spacious. Rooms are a little outdated but they are in process of updating furniture.

it's really close to campus. very short walk. it's really close to town and the train stations, all are basically ten minutes. theres a right mix of people, some who always go out, some who just chill, some who stay by themselves. the rooms seem fairly sound proof, you can play music quite loud just not really late at night because flat mates may not like it. at times it can feel a little excluded but that may be because of small flat numbers. does mean it's easier to stay clean and tidy less people to annoy if you are playing music loud. sick.

In 2 words; Absolutely dreadful. First flat had flatmates that were noisy and messy- my room was perfect but the kitchen left a lot to be desired. Second room- disruptive flatmates at 5AM and left feeling unsafe in own room. Kitchen filthy. Management unhelpful following new owners. From what I gather, the heights is quite poor compared to other accommodation around. Staying with Unite Students Next year, Jennens Court is much better as I have friends living there.

The location was farther than my other choices but was not that much cheaper. The facilities were ok, there was a small gym and a rather expensive laundrette, it costs almost £5 to wash and dry one lot of clothes. There was one pool table and a ping pong table but people were always using them. I got along well with my flat mates and the other flats we made friends with, we all looked after each other when we went out. My room was small but had an en suite shower and toilet with sink.
