Location - Manor Hall is right next to beautiful Clifton and a 10-minute walk from uni, so it's a great starting point when coming to Bristol. Clifton has so many lovely pubs and the triangle (for clubs) as well as Stokes Croft are not far away either. Facilities - the rooms are by far the biggest I've seen in any hall of residence, particularly on the bottom floor. The kitchens are very roomy and the bathrooms are really nice. The garden is amazing in the summer, people are always outside enjoying how beautiful it is! It's also really lovely to have when socials or formals are on. Social experience - I loved Manor, it attracted such a diverse range of people that you could find a friend in anyone. The staff are really friendly and it's got a really nice atmosphere. I would 100% recommend Manor!

I live in the Manor House annex of manor hall. On the first day when I arrived at the hall to move in, I was annoyed to find out that I wouldn't actually be living in the halls but in this tiny building 50 feet away. It was raining and I was tired but once I made it through the door I was happy to find that my room was massive. Eventually everyone in my house started chatting with each other and we all went out to the events put on by the hall and then out to Lakota. There are 25 people who live here and 20 of us are all friends. The house is a special building as it feels more like a home than a hall of residence. Do whatever you can to end up in this building with good people.

Excellent location within 10 minutes of most university buildings; a great, friendly community of students and staff who work together to make Hall life so fun and enjoyable; a wonderful jcr committee who put on regular events at the bar, and formals three times a year which are a real highlight; most rooms are very spacious with lots of natural light except the rooms on the two top floors which are significantly smaller. Overall a brilliant, memorable year which is very special to me!

The hall is great and so are the people in it, my only gripe is the cruel temporary share system that had me in limbo in the first couple weeks of the year. My room is much smaller than most others but costs the same in rent, which is also quite annoying. Probably the best located Bristol hall, with uni, the suspension bridge, shops all around ten minutes away.

Manor Hall provides a mix of tradition and modern elements which makes for a good student experience. The location is very ideal as it is right next to the university which is good of you like extant lie ins or you want to go back after lectures. The range of events and activities mean that you develop great friend ships with people throughout the Hall and truly make some life longoes memories

Great location, perfect for going to university and shopping. Not enough washing machines, but what Student hall does have? Rubbish social experience as was put in a side building but off from the main building, and the so called bar on site was never open! Rooms are very small but have everything you need, and clean.

Great atmosphere, breath-taking surroundings, located in the heart of university life and Bristol as a city. The drama and musical events provide a real sense of community to students at this hall.

Great halls with a real sense of community. Made up of multiple colonies it suits all kinds of students with all different budgets. It allows you to meet people from lots of different backgrounds. Great social life and organised events such as formal dinners.
