Cambridge is a beautiful, safe city that is easy to get around. Lots of greenery and open spaces, independent shops and cafes and lovely bars/pubs. A lot of free museums and beautiful architecture thanks to Cambridge University. The only downside is that it is very expensive, especially accommodation. In regards to safety, I feel very safe but I did get my bike stolen from the train station parking when I went away for a week so you will need two locks to keep your bike safe.

Amazing place to be! So many shops and restaurants to choose from! Can be expensive in many places due to the nature of Cambridge but there are many cheap and even free events to go to. Great clubs and cheap bars to visit too

Cambridge is a decent location with great transport links, being easy to reach by train. Plenty of pubs and clubs to statisfy those who enjoy the nightlife.

The town is beautiful, and it’s an amazing place to live. Unfortunately, this means there are often lots of tourists, which can be a pain. Shopping is good, and the market in the main square is really nice to go to. There’s a very varied range of nightlife, but I personally don’t know how good it is. One downside is that the station is very far away.

There is always loads of things to do, places to eat and events on. Bus and train travel is fairly cheap and allows you to explore the county.

The campus is located really close to the city centre, unlike many other campuses. This is advantageous as you are close to all the shops and transport links. You never have to walk far. Cambridge has hundreds of pubs and bars and you are never far from a pint. Nights out are pretty good and every night there is something to do! Cambridge is quite expensive but you can definitely find places that offer value for money.

Cambridge has a lot to offer, from classical architecture to nightclubs. Good for sightseeing on streets and punting through rivers. A rich nightclub scene offering discounts and intrigue every night.

Cambridge is a home away from home, if you're from a small town moving to a city may be scary. However, Cambridge is a quiet city that isn't as drastic of a change like a busier city like London. The food places are a wide range and variety and pretty simple to find anything that you're feeling. There is also many takeaways to choose from for delivery if you're feeling lazy. Shopping is great with loads of stores to choose from with a great mall, the arcade. Value for money is okay, not as cheap since Cambridge is still a city however not as expensive as a popular city would be. The nights out are great, with multiple good clubs to choose from since they're different you're sure to find one that your fave. Overall, Cambridge is great for students that are worried about moving away since the city is not as populated and busy as other cities. Also, there is many direct trains to many places meaning you can easily visit home when you get homesick.

there are many bars and clubs for students to go to on nights out. There is also two large shopping centres and have lots of clothing shops and food places. Around the bigger shopping centre there are also designer shops if you’re student load allows you to spend money like that

There are lots of places local to shop for various items, whether that be food, gifts or clothing as well as musical instruments and books which aid learning. On top of that we are surrounded by nightclubs and pubs suited for entertaining nights out, with many transport links to other locations not too far away such as London, a popular hotspot for students.

There is lots to do in Cambridge; shopping, eating out, nightlife and more. I find that there are loads of great places to shop and eat near my uni and most aren’t even that expensive. Right near my uni there is the grafton centre and that is full of great shops and places to eat. I think it that it is a very well built area. There are also quite a few different clubs to choose from on a night out and they are all destined for a good night. Also there are loads of gardens in cambridge for a nice walk around. I love being in Cambridge and I’m glad I chose it as a place to study.

Great choice of clubs, bars and pubs, depending on the kind of night you want. The shopping is great, there is everything you’d need, but you do have to be wise as to when you go out!

Very pretty and shopping is good, though a lot of the shops are more upmarket. Night life is not that great, but there are a few good clubs and the have lots of different student nights on. As for activities in the city there is nothing out of the ordinary but there are lots of good restaurants and places to eat.

Food is great- lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs as well. The sipping is also good as there are lower budget well”-known high street stores and well as independent stores as well. The night life is ok- but not as good as at other universities. Because it’s a touristy town- food in particular tends to be overpriced.

Cambridge is far too expensive for a student to live in. The average rent per month in this city is roughly £500 a month which is difficult to pay for with student loans unless you also work. Definitely not value for money.
