Newnham College

Newnham's architectural design is feminine and warm, reflective of the college culture. We boast a beautiful garden and a newly renovated porter's lodge. However majority of the accommodations are more antique and exude a more classical, rustic homely feel. The location is further from the center, so no tourists and much more peaceful. It's still accessible to the town center by a 10min walk. The facilities are decent, we have a new gym and enough JCRs and function rooms to hold in-house events. Some of the rooms are stunning, some not so much, but cosy and comfortable still. My only complaint is how thin the walls are, doors opening and closing throughout the day is an absolute PAIN and conversations across the walls are easily eaves-dropped. but still a quaint and placid college accommodation.
