Great place to live not too far from town and the shops are student friendly and offer quite a few discounts, loads of clubs and pubs that have student nights and all round quite friendly people

Yeah its decent tbf. Theres a lot to do if you're looking around for something to do. The town is nice and historical if you're into it otherwise there are plenty of modern shops and modern activities.

A great community and friendly staff, it’s great to be treated like an adult and study in a professional environment.

A little dull, not much to do. Everything is also quite expensive and pretty far from campus. But campus bars are good

Campus busses stop after 3 which is frustrating as most clubs in the town close at3-4. Thus creating the need to get a taxi

A few clubs and many pubs/bars in the town center. But other than that, you will have to travel if you get bored easily.

The walk from campus to town centre isn’t tooo bad, it’s a bit hill-y so it’s a leg-killer, your best bet is home delivery for food shops as it’s an absolute mission trying to drag shopping from town centre to home and Essentials, the on campus store, is extortionate. Nights out are relatively cheap, there’s a 24 hour McDonald’s in town which is fab

Loads of places to go both day and night, something happening everyday - quick to get to shopping centre and to uni (although the hill is annoying). Tons of variety, but the buses are expensive.

Canterbury is an amazing city! It's location couldn't be any better; about an hour to London by train, but also less than twenty minutes from the beach. The city is filled with pubs and every shop imaginable - Canterbury is the city for you!

Endless amounts of restaurants, pubs and places to visit. It is a historical and culturally enriched city with attractions like the cathedral.

Canterbury used to be a pretty nice city, but the over years crime has risen quite a lot and the vibe of the city is now quite hostile.

The city itself has a lot of shops and clubs. As I do not originally come from here I think it’s a really lovely city.

In terms of clubs there aren’t that many compared to other uni cities but the on campus club is fun when you are part of a society as this is where everyone goes. During the day there is a lot of things to do and there is a lot of history in the town of Canterbury. There are loads of cute restaurants and bars hidden away and it is generally a very pretty city.

In general canterbury is a very nice city with great restaurants and even better nights out! The uni experience so far has been great and it is in an excellent location with a friendly and busy high street and there is a lot on offer!

High street is very historic and beautiful with the Cathedral right in the centre. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants, litered with hundreds of pubs, new and historic! There are a range of different clubs to chose from on nights out all with differing themes. However there is a limited amount of activities to do with no local bowling alley etc. Overall a great place to come to uni.
