no communal areas unless you're including the kitchens which are not nice to cook in. the rooms are depressing and the beds i don't even think are single beds they're tiny, the only good thing is that basically all rooms are en suite and the uni and town centre are pretty close. also you get noise complaints at like 10pm so you can't actually have a social life
WiFi is pretty decent but mainly the only real strong point about the halls. Rooms are reasonably spacious but quite out dated in comparison to many I’ve visited.
Includes an ensue. Fire doors create a lot of noise. The fire alarms tended to be sensitive only to water vapour from the shower causing fire evacuation to happen frequently and when in a case of an actual fore alarms did not work.
Good rooms - every room has an ensuite but the maintenance is shabby and not being able to change our own light bulbs whilst living there was ridiculous! It took two weeks to change one of my bulbs leaving me having to shower in the dark. Good location (until they moved the train station but that can’t be helped) massive hill to walk up to uni! Lots of conflict between people living there and lots of noisy parties!
