Lived in Garden Wing for a year. Spacious, nice rooms, one big kitchen... Felt really safe and enjoyed living here. The only thing was that the showers were down the halls and not in the room, but for this price I really couldn't complain.

Advantages of living in Garden Wing: - Big kitchen - big, comfortable rooms - nice view from the windows - close to everywhere (city centre, University, park, shops etc) -has its own garden, where you can sit and relax - safe: it's quite hard to get inside if you don't have the keys - female only: we can have male visitors, but living with girls only means that we have peace and quiet, we can feel comfortable wearing pyjamas all day and wear no makeup and not feel judged for it ;) Disadvantages: - the ceiling gets mouldy very easily - when something breaks the staff doesn't come and fix it immediately (we have to remind them a few times) - you can't have guests over for more than 2 nights a month - it takes much time before heaters start working properly (or sometimes y they don't work at all). It's usually either way too hot or way too cold. - the windows in the rooms can't be opened properly (only a bit) - the windows in the rooms aren't airtight which can be very annoying especially in the winter.

Excellent catering with an incredible location, just minutes from the university and town. Very comfortable rooms with high levels of cleanliness in all communal areas.

I live in the Garden Wing (self-catered). Did realise I would be in an 11 person flat (no one told me), which is far too big. Takes ages to get anything fixed. Most of the rooms smelled unpleasant on moving in and some still do. Nice kitchen and big bedrooms. Heating often doesn't work. My room has a massive heating pipe that runs next to the head of my bed and is always burning hot. Also toilets keep blocking. Visually the halls are fairly pleasant and the location is great, but I would not live here if so could choose again.
