Small rooms, run down, but kitchen is fully equipped in central campus. Studen pub in Darwin and certain lectures and seminars are also in the same building which is nice

The flatmates made it excellent but the facilities were poor but you can adapt well with great company

Darwin college is social. You get what you pay for. The shared bathrooms take getting used to if you have previously had an ensuite but they are not the worst. The main downfall is the thin walls and having to go outside and up the stairs to get to the kitchen.

The actually accommodation was bad, but the social side of the place made my 1st year experience. All other accommodation don't even compare.

The place itself, and the accommodation is below poor. The rooms and kitchen are very old. Poor social space, terrible utility staff who are beyond rude. Only saving Grace, is Origins, and the layout of the blocs which encourages social contact. I had 20 solid friends in my bloc alone in first year, which the other accomodations don't allow for. In this respect Darwin is the best place to live, due to the people you meet, but if I had had a poor group of flatmates, then my time at the university could have been made a lot worse.

Bathroom and kitchen were regularly cleaned and replenished, staff are nice, locations good, only a straight 5 min walk from venue (no getting lost or raped along the way lol), social obviously depends on flatmates, mine were great sooo.. my room was cool, offered what I needed

Honestly not a bad place to live in for the money, I’ve seen worse, experience solely depends on the flatmates you’re assigned with- not as nice as others on campus- but you get what you pay for- things are clean and replenished on a weekly basis

Bathrooms aren’t in great condition and I would say the kitchens are too small for 10 people and no area to actually socialise with your housemates and very close to a bar that gets busy on weekends and some weekdays that can keep you up
