Good distance from course I am studying. Fast internet speeds (Broadband, at least). Is maintained and feels safe. Overall I recommend this halls of residence.

I am sharing a flat with 8 other people, this means we should have a fence size kitchen so at least five of us can fit in and cook at the same time, but that is not the case, my room was okay at first until I discovered all of the mould growing on the Windows, shower and down the back of the toilet, the bed feels like the mattress absent been changed in 10 years

The location is a bit far from town center, the facilities are good everything needed is avaliable, good social experience in the halls and the university, the room is good compared to other campuses all the facilities are avaliable

Location was beautiful, right next to the lake and during summer, it was great to sit outside. Also super close to the lecture halls. However, kitchen was awful. One cupboard space each and only half a fridge/freezer shelf each. The tiny kitchen was supposed to fit 9 people but only three people could get in at a time, otherwise it was massively over crowded. The rooms were basic, but they did have an en-suit which was great. However, I had multiple issues with the pluming, toilet, heating and the curtains kept no light at all. Not to mention there was a massive lamp right outside my room that lit up my room at night. Was £131 a week and not good value for money at all. Would not recommend!

For m overall experience in Halls of Residence it has been enjoyable the majority of the time. There have been times where sickness etc have been almost unbearable due to noise from other students living in the halls although everyone in halls are good friends and have been able to create a community amongst all of us

Location is perfect as the accommodation is a stone's throw away from the University building, meaning attending lectures and using facilities on campus is easily done without the need to travel far. The communal areas are cleaned thoroughly every week by staff who are always friendly and chatty. The surrounding area of the campus is well kept, and there is always security personnel on hand when needed.

Okay is the word I would use to describe the Park Villas. The proximity to the university is absolutely amazing; on campus and I can see the door from my bedroom window. That’s where the positives end. The rooms are really quite small and the bathrooms are even smaller. I moved into mine and the door knobs on the cupboards were broken and falling off, the bathroom was full of mildew and mould and it was all unclean. The entire flat is old and not worth the £133 a week that you pay for it. The kitchens are tiny, with not enough seating for everyone or even room to move about if there’s someone else in there whilst you’re cooking. Again, the cupboard doors are all broken (although the maintenance staff are lovely, but take an age to respond). It’s nice to be on campus with quite a few other students but definitely not worth the money. WiFi is okay, but sometimes intermittent.

Perfect for getting to know your new flat mates, right on campus so you could roll out of bed five minutes before lectures and be on time. Wifi connection a bit iffy but that’s just eduroam for you. Kitchen a great size but when 9 people all need to cook can get a bit cramped. En suite in room was awesome. Bit of a trek into town but 20 mins top.
