Lots of halls available to choose from to pick your ideal spot in Chester, bit pricey for the facilities but most halls are.

Overall, my university living arrangement is good at best. Even though my room is a good size and has quite a nice feel to it (despite the lack of notice board and the rules against hanging items up on the wall), it does have its negative sides. Being in a house in freshers makes me and my housemates feel like we’ve missed out on the traditional university experience that everyone enjoys so much. It is made worse by the fact that we feel very secluded from everyone else in university accommodation which meant that I have not found it very easy to make friends outside of the 6 girls living in my house. As well as this, it is difficult with the size of our kitchen and lack of any kind of lounge area to socialise comfortably. Our social interactions are limited because there is no where in the house to fit 7 people comfortably. On the opposing side, the location is good in reference to the university campus and the city centre. It has been a lovely change to where I am from being able to walk into town when I require something.
