Parker House so far has been a great place to live, the staff are so friendly and approachable and the facilities are nice and modern too. If you have a problem or issue with your room the staff will do all they can to get it sorted for you quickly. The location of the Parker House building is great too, in relation to Abertay University, it's just a 2 minute walk, very handy. The rooms are good price and spaceious enough for all your stuff. Highly recommend Parker House as a good place for student accommodation living. Very central to Dundee as well.

Rooms and kitchens are a good size! Really close to the university and a good place to meet new friends. Security and reception are always available and incredibly helpful and sweet!

The private accommodation is so expensive for the basic facilities they give you. Very disappointing for a uni I really enjoy going to

Parker house was one of the worth places I ever stayed , it looks like a prison with its ridiculous security system and iron bars, They do not take into account any prefferences for room flat mates , its over priced and the mannagement team is a joke , 3 people including myself ended up in hosptial with a sever stomach bug due to the lack of kitchen hygiene of one my flat mates after the staff passed a flat expection , despite numerous attempts to be moved flat the issue was never resolved. I was so ill from the experience i had to leave half way through the term and resit first year as i missed all my exams due to being in hospital They then had the audacity to try and charge me for another 3 months rent despite not living there. My other flat mate moved out prematurely and at one point had a lease on two flats because of how disgusting the place was . Avoid like the plauge , If i could vote zero stars I would.

Great location, close to uni aswell as being close to necessary shops. The flat itself is very nice, some of the equipment could be better when first moving in for the price of it. Social experience within Parker House is good, events are often held in the common room allowing us to mix with others etc. The rent per month is my only issue.

Parker house may be admittedly quite expensive for a student hall's but it is by far the best in Dundee. Only a 5 minute walk from the university itself, two main supermarkets and a club nothing is too far away! Most flats come with either 5-7 rooms and you have the choice of rooms going from bronze level up to a luxury platinum room depending on your budget. The rooms being ensuite is a great benefit not having to wait for anyone to finish using the bathroom. There is also a great common room with a smart TV and pool table where I have had many a fun nights playing beer pong or trying to beat my friends at pool. Parker house makes your living experience both comfortable and sociable, I have met so many lifeong friends thanks to this place and would choose it again if I had to live my first year all over again.

Although the rooms are fairly decent size and quite nice on the whole, as well as the ensuite, the price pcm is almost extortionate. With numerous problems having occurred through the half year I’ve stayed here so far, such as entry gates not working, laundry machines being unreliable, as well as the WIFI, I am not entirely happy enough to rate more than three stars. However the staff are friendly and the free events and occasional free giveaways at reception are quite nice.
