Darroch Court

I can not recommend living in Darroch court enough. Right beside the uni gym, close to all the amazing pubs and clubs and 7 minute walk to uni. Decent sized rooms with 3/4 double beds. Great heating system. No problem with noise even though windows led to a busy road. Lovely cleaners. Secure building with video cameras when buzzing the flat. Not badly priced considering the location. Good social space.

The location is one of the best things about it: it's basically next to the gym and cowgate, 10 mins from the central campus. I'm in a five bedroom flat and we have two fridges, while some of my friends in other accommodations have one fridge for 6 people. We also have 2 bathrooms and a toilet which is great because we haven't had the problem of having all the bathrooms occupied at the same time. Darroch court doesn't have a common room which is a bit disappointing but the RAs sometimes hold events. There aren't nearly enough washing mashines and dryers in the laundry room, and the filters in the dryers are always very dusty and dirty. The rooms have very little storage space and furniture, there would have been more than enough space for some shelves and another cupboard. I also don't have any signal in my flat.

It's okay... not very sociable so you just have to prey your luck aboight that your flat mates are sociable cause there's little opportunity to meet any1 else there. No mice woch is good tho!

The flats great with plenty space, and it's very central at a great price. The room was large with sufficient storage and the kitchen had loads of space for party's. Also loads off cubboard and fridge space.

Best accommodation you can get! Big rooms, nice kitchen/common room area, right next to the gym, and you are a block off of Cowgate so it is easy to get anywhere you need for a good night out
