George Burnett was a great place to spend my first year at uni! I preferred the layout to the newer halls as we were not split into seperate flats so it was much more social and easier to meet people! The kitchens are all just a year old so of great quality and I never had any issues. The rooms are small and basic but I didn’t spend too much time there so it was all I needed. Over all, I loved living in GB for a year and would definitely recommend it :)

I liked that the halls were on campus. However, the rooms and facilities were not worth the price we were paying. The noise levels were sometimes unbearable.

Location is a mixed bag: clon campus so close to all classes and library, but pretty far from town. Kitchens are decent, but there's only 3 social areas in the whole building, nothing resembling a living room or common area for the people you share a kitchen with. The social areas themselves are pretty sparse, as there's only a couple chairs and sofas in each and not much more else. Rooms aren't too big, but are kitted out with free internet and everything you'll need, as well as an ensuite bathroom which is definitely nice to have to yourself after a heavy night out.

It's great being on Campus and only having a short walk to classes and it's good that there are lots of halls at varying prices but the walls are very thin and are painted brick. However, with some personalisation, it really liked my room and I had some really nice flatmates

Location: Good, Facilities: Good - Kitchen okay with good utilities however no space for eating- breakfast bar but not amazing. Bedroom is suffice, single bed and en suite.

3 lounges make it great for socialising. Not having individual flats but having rooms with kitchens dotted along can make it very noisy. En suite bathrooms feel like a caravan with very low shower water pressure.
