New Arthur Place

Fantastic location right next to the gym and central campus. A bit run down looking but it becomes homely after a month. Very close to nightlife too which meant no need for a costly taxi. 100% recommend.

New Arthur Place, the cheapest Edinburgh Uni accommodation. But honestly one of the best times ever. The facilities themselves not so great, mould on the walls, the occasional sighting of mice. But comfy beds and good people. New Arthur Place is located in an amazing place near the uni near the centre of town and of course near hive. For me New Arthur was the best place to spend my first year and I would recommend it to anyone.

amazing location, not very social though, my room is nice and has plenty of space but there is no common space between all the flats

New Arthur Place is amazing value-for-money. It only provides the very basics however, it has everything that a student needs. It is in the perfect location, right next to the gym and 10 minutes from the central campus. The social experience has been fine however, there is no common area and there is a 'silent from 11' policy which limits the ability of people to socialise within halls themselves.
