Amazing location, 3 minute walk to ECA and 10 minutes to George square campus. New and modern common room with study room and laundry facilities.

The location isn’t the best among all of the residence options, but for the price it’s wonderful. It’s right by princes street, a 10 minute walk to Cowgate, and about a 15 minute walk to the royal mile. It’s a 15 minute walk to central campus, and a 20 minute walk to the gym. The rooms have everything you need: a bed, sink, closet, desk, lamp, and our own heater. The form facility tries to have as many social events as possible, all located in the common room. The social environment of your own flat with most likely be based on your roommates, but there is a central sitting area and kitchen.

Good location. Great common room but flats are a bit old and run down. At least the heating is really nice and warm. Washing machines break down quite often though and are quite expensive.

The location of the hall of accommodation is good and near the centre of the city. However, the room wasn't as good as shown in the pictures.

Good access to the city center, but poor facilities, lack of common room, and problems with hot water. Sink in room is a plus

Really good location, close to university, the meadows, and the town centre. The rooms are a good size and well suited to students.

Best location out of any halls in Edinburgh, very close to both the university central area and to the centre of town. Ideal for nightlife and shopping.

The location of my halls is great as it is so close to all of the main city centre attractions and is also close to the main university campus. The halls are well maintained by the cleaners and the RA’s are always there to lend a hand if we need someone to speak to. I’ve loved my first year here and made some friends for life.
