Brilliant location, close to shops, meadows, George Square, and not too far for clubs. Big beds, lots of ambulances going past, so if your bedroom is on the street side it's very loud.

Fantastic location, nice sized rooms. Not the most social but if you have good flatmates it's fab. The common room is a little run down but I'm very happy with it. Amazing value for money.

I got a room not facing the main road so it was quiet for me. But those facing the main road said you could hear ambulances all night. It's less than a 10 mins walk to the uni so that's good. The rooms are a good size with a 3/4 bed. There was nice towards the end of the year but that's standard

It’s a great location at a great price (Edinburgh standards). The rooms have been refurbished so great furniture with 3/4 bed and large desk. Some of the problems being not well insulated despite the double glazing. No idea why but the heaters are inconsistent as well, so in some rooms it’ll be fine but some rooms are freezing. Kitchen appliances are quite old so depending on your luck you might get some really cranky oven or microwave.

The location of this halls is unreal, very close to George square about a 7min walk and about a 20min walk to kings, it’s close enough to clubs as well so walking home is no bother. The social experience at the halls has be extremely surprising, the halls is unbelievable social and I’m a pretty fortunate when I hear stories about other halls here. The room is a good cosy size and a 3/4 bed far beats sleeping in a single which adds to the comfort and the kitchen is also a good size. Overall I adore this halls and will thoroughly miss it next year.

Room lovely. Lift was nice. Friendly neighbours. No common room so not very social. The bike shed was handy.
