Large, spacious rooms with double beds and ample storage space. The bathrooms are shared between 2 people but this is rarely an issue. The kitchen is large and modern with a dining area and a communal room. One of the problems is it's a long way to go to the kitchen if you're on the top floor. The wifi is generally good. However, the kitchen is cleaned once a week and the bathrooms are cleaned once a month. The George Eliot reception team are friendly and it isn't too far away. Overall, you can tell that the halls are new but they are quite expensive.

Location is perfect for campus and there are a couple of surrounding pubs within 3 minutes walk with great student deals, the Happy Man and the Packhorse, however it is a bit far from the train station. The room is a great size with plenty of storage facilities and the bathroom is only shared with one other person. The bathroom has a large shower and it is very spacious - perfect for student living.

New clean accommodation, brilliant to have a double bed and big desk and window. Large downstairs which is great for socialising. However some of the cupboards and furniture in the house are cheap and break easily.

Great place for meeting friends as the kitchen is really nice and big so you want to spend time there and consequently get to know your housemates. The rooms are quite spacious but if you live on floor 3 you will die every single day because those stairs are brutal and I'm waiting for my toned legs to kick in but I'm not sure if they will...

The room has modern facilities and is in a very convenient location. Get on great with my flatmates and lovr the kitchen. However, since the kitchen is shared amongst 12 of us, it is very common for my food to go missing. Hence, I'd suggest getting a lock for your pantry.

George eliot has plenty of storage, a large double bed and a really nice shower. The cleaners come frequently so the house is always clean. The townhouse layout means that it's a very social experience, whilst also giving you a lot of space due to the living room and dining area.

The facilities were really great, the kitchen space is huge and great dinning area and lounge area- great for pree drinks and having people over. Socially it's a bit dead since all the floor doors lock and you can only see the 3 other people you share a floor with, you dont have the same experience of being friends with your corridor that you havs with a traditional uni flat. The bathrooms are really nice and sharing with one person is not as bad as you think, and the fact that they get cleaned monthly is pretty great. The lack of bins and waste disposal in the kitchen and common room are real issue and caused alot of problems with in the house but other than that fairly decent halls. Honestly it's an alright accommodation but a bit pricey.

The accommodation was brand new and fittingly impressive. We had clean and light rooms with a large communal area. But the benefits did not, in my opinion, outweigh the cost! The doors couldn’t be propped open so the halls weren’t as social as the initially seemed. Moreover, structurally they aren’t sound, at least two blocks have had their kitchen ceilings collapse due to a leak. Overall, lovely accommodation but simply not worth it!

Good location, the facilities are mediocre but good for considering it’s student accommodation. The social experience is good and the living room/kitchen is big and modern. I believe it is the best student accommodation I have seen before and my room is of high quality too.
