The Kelvinhaugh gate residence is centrally located, having both the city center and the uni at walkable distances. Have many social events in the common rooms.

Location is awesome, rooms reasonable size and mine was en-suite. The kitchen was a good standard with kettle, cooker fridge freeze and toaster. Only downside is the management are likely to wander in at any point through the day to ‘fix things’ and you’re likely to get fined for not turning up to a fire alarm

Good location. Terrible facilities - no office, no common room. Had black mould on my bathroom ceiling that nobody ever came to fix despite being told ‘it would be in the next few days’.

The block of flats I was in had two other people in! I would of liked to of had more flat mates to make more friends! The flat overall was nice and tidy Location was amazing Price was very expensive It had an en suite which was great

Location is very good and area is nice. Flat mates are lovely. The cleaning staff can be rude and the kitchen and bathroom standards are decent. Missing a communal area for each block but other than that it’s decent

The location of the accommodation is great, and I like that we have enough suite toilets, however I feel we pay way more than needed considering what the halls are, and a lot of things break often. Fortunately though the maintenance team tends to get on work quite quickly.

The room itself is quite good. The hall is about 15 minutes away from the uni which is not too bad. We don’t have a common room or any social space so that’s a downside. We get a few flat parties here and there so I consider social experience to be quite good. It’s a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood so it’s a good place to live. I do think the rent is too high as a private halls a few yards away is charging £20 less per week.

Really good location, short walk to uni. Close to all the pubs and clubs too. 20 minute walk from Lidl and 2 minute walk from Sainsbury's, 15 minute walk to train or subway. The halls are clean and having your own bathroom is nice and there's plenty going on about the halls.
