Hazel farm is very cost effective living that has great rooms with brand new bathroom/kitchen facilities and modern fittings in band B rooms. The location is a little far from campus which is the only drawback as it is slightly boring and isolated. However, the regular free busses make it easy to get to campus or town. I loved living here in my first year of uni!

Decent room size. Great company. Convenient that Costcutter is close by. Door to door bus service. Bus service is free for hazel farm residents, another convenience.

It is far from uni. However they do provide you with a free bus pass. The common room isn’t that great and there are hardly any good places to go and hang out around hazel. It is closer to town then to uni, in a way. The only shop that is near us is costcutter and grange corner shop. That is about it.

The distance is quite far and I didn’t like this the most. However apart from that, the whole place is really nice, and it’s a great way of everyone joining and getting together. Social experience was really fun, especially Fridays. My room was quite reasonable, and heating was alright. However I would have preferred better carpets and beds.

30 minutes away from campus by bus. No one is social here. Only one common room. Room size has a good value for money, as it costs around £70 a week. However the downsides outweigh the positives.

Good staff who provided support on moving into the accommodation and throughout the year whenever I had any problems they were always their to help and offer assistance. The room was a good size which allowed me plenty of space to myself whilst socialising with all my flatmates and to chill with my new friends.
