Shenley Hall

The location is great as it's close to everything on campus including library, SU shop, cafeteria, lecture halls and also close to the Galleria which has good restaurants. The room is good value for money as it's cheaper than the bigger/better rooms in the college lane campus. The kitchen has enough space. The social experience is what you make of it. Unless you have good friends living near you, there's not much social activities taking place- not as much as the other campus anyway, it's much quieter here.

Socially the flat was quiet, we talked to each other but never went out as a group. Had problems with the kitchen on a weekly basis leading to arguments a lot of the time

I love my hall of residence because my building is close to the library and close to my lecture buildings. I get on really well with all my 10 flatmates and I genuinely feel like they are in a way like my second family. I love that my flat is so diverse and I have been able to learn about new cultures and have been able to try new food. I would not change my hall of residence if I had the choice because I really do love where I am living and I wish every flat got on as well as mine.
