Welwyn Hall

The location of the halls is brilliant. Right next to the library, close to the shuttle bus and lecture halls. The rooms are a bit small but can always be made cosy with a personal touch! Overall, great hall for 1st year students

Overall it was a lovely experience, occasionally there can be friction between housemates so perhaps a more in depth quiz to help you find your people would be a good idea but overall was a good experience. The rooms were incredible, private bathroom and spacious room. De Hav being the quieter campis was nice if you're not a party goer.

The location is perfect at its right opposite the LRC and very close to taxi however it is a bit of a walk from the bus stop as it’s on the other end of campus. The facilities provide are all good apart from the WiFi in certain rooms there are no internet which means we have to buy for internet then hotspot our laptops etc which is very inconvient. The social experience is okay as I know most of my flat mates before I moved in so we all get along very well as a flat. Not much places to socialise other than the kitchen or common room but that’s always over packed because it’s so small.

Pretty expensive for what you get but the location is pretty good. Not too loud. WiFi is sometimes hit and miss. Windows aren't great. Could have more fridge space as the mini fridge is very small. It's okay overall, I just wish it was a bit cheaper or the room was a bit bigger.
