Great location at the heart of campus, near to Alexandra Square and facilities like the Spar and takeaways. Every college has a bar, and Trevor is great with pub quizzes every Wednesday. I stayed in an 8 bedroom en-suite flat, sharing a kitchen. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space, with the added bonus of an ensuite. Although it acts like a wet room, so when you have a shower it soaks the whole bathroom which can be annoying. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of storage, although pretty basic as a shared area with only a table and chairs for a socialising space. Overall, on campus accommodation can be expensive but it makes a great experience for your first year.

Furness College is located very close to the centre of campus making it ideal for lectures, going to the library and coming back from the bus stop with shopping or after a night out. The Superior Ensuite rooms had all been redone very recently and were lovely and homely - something that was important to me as a student who was a bit homesick!

Not bad. I enjoyed my time here throughly. Would highly recommend, dead central and extremely close to all stores. Laundry could be closer but apart from that, all is good. Thank you. I would suggest living either here or in bowland and grizedale. Doop doop dooop dpoooop. How is this not 100 characters yet. Why is this so difficuly. Toom was extremely spacious with so much room for activities

The accommodation is really good. The location is excellent. It is located in the center of the campus, 5 minutes to the bus station, restaurants - asian food, kebab, burritos and subway, supermarket - spar, book store, banks - Natwest, Santander, Barclays, and the library. Also, the flyde and furness laundrette is right next to the furness college, with plenty of washers and dryers. The rooms are clean, and all buildings are equipped with lift which can help when you are lifting heavy things. The porters service is excellent that you can easily find and take your letters and parcels. One thing bad about the accommodation is the bathroom. The curtains are not working so well that water gets out easily.

Great location on campus, easy and quick access to the library, learning zone, post office, spar and general main essential areas for a student. However, the college only has two accommodation types which is quite limiting (especially as they are essentially two extremes) and it is very expensive.

Located in the middle of the campus, it's very practical. The bar is very friendly, with a games room and a music room; it's ideal for socialising in. Socially, you get out what you put in; there are a lot of parties and pub crawls throughout the year. My standard room is great; plenty of storage.

I chose Furness based on the usual stuff such as proximity to my lectures, type of accommodation and what I'd heard about the community and social side of it etc. But after being part of Furness for 3 years I can honestly say from experience that it has the best people, the best events and the best everything on campus!
