Room is spacious and modern and the facilities are of a good quality however communal areas like the kitchen are too small in my block to even think about socialising as well as the constant pestering of maintenance- which is often for unnecessary reasons- but overall I am comfortable where I live

Best uni experience! This hall is super social but also in a beautiful, quiet location right next to the botanical gardens

My room happened to be the smallest in the block but that didn’t matter too much as everyone socialised in other areas and I still did have enough room. The food court in the student village is a really good space to relax and enjoy a meal with friends too.

Grea halls for socialising as 60 of us shared a block so never short of meeting people and not stuck in kitchens of 6 or whatever. Kinda gross old buildings but that’s all you need in 1st year. Food was passable.

Beaumont is the best halls! Globe Court is modern, clean and so much fun. The court yard out the front menat that flats went out there to mingle. We could sit out then in the summer and pre drink in the evenings. The food was good from the food court. The bathrooms were fairly big and the rooms were really nice. Best halls by far!

Being in halls has been great, the social aspect of UOL halls can’t be faulted, the resident advisers put on events every night of the week of all different kinds so there’s so much to do. My flat specifically was in Glebe court, the bedrooms are great, really big with double beds but not much storage, you can fit boxes under your bed though. The downside has been being on the meal plan, all our kitchen has is a fridge and microwave, so we have no ability to cook and the meal plan food is the unhealthiest I’ve ever eaten, chips or potato wedges come with almost every meal and most nights there are no vegetables but lots of burgers, greasy fish or sausage and chips and pizza! Not ideal when you have no alternative of cooking at home!

Beaumont offered a fab social experience, all the blocks are close together and the green space in front such a nice space to hang out with anybody! The catered food is okay but again the social experience of going to have dinner with everybody beats the food. My room was okay, i was a bit worried when i first got there but i soon made it my own with all my things in and ive become very attached to it!
