Freemens Common is one of the worst accommodations that a University can provide. The buildings are old and it is falling apart. When I first moved in, there were rats running around the car park on a daily basis. My kitchen smelt so bad, that I had to cook in someone my friends block for the entire first semester. My bathroom sink is usually blocked and maintenance never seem to be able to get the job done properly. For my room, the radiator does not work properly. It turns on and off whenever it wants to, and there is nothing I can do about it. Another annoying thing is that we have to go a long way to rent out items for the social area, and half the time they are broken. The only good thing about my accommodation is that it is very close to the university and town, and people here are sociable.

The location is really great being a five minutes from campus and a twenty five minute walk to town, there isn't any better accommodation in terms of location. The facilities are pretty basic but you get everything you need, the toilet on the bottom floor doesn't have a sink in it through. I get on really well with the nine other people in ny house and there is a lot of social events and pubs and clubs close by to socialise at too. The room is very basic and quite tired, a lot of the furnature is old, but you do get a desk, two chairs, bed and wardrobe, with a bedside table and somw shelves above the desk, so you have everything you really need.
