Newarke Point is great if you want to live on campus and close to the city. The city centre is a 5 minute walk and the centre of campus is less than 30 seconds so you really get the best of both worlds. The room sizes are spacious and all the staff are really friendly.

this accomadation is within great distance of de Montfort university, which means it is very easy to get to and from lectures. The halls offers great facilities such as a downstairs lobby chill out area that includes a ping pong table and sky box with tv all for free! A lot of first years stay in this halls and I knew a lot of people on my course who lived here which made my experience much better knowing I had friends very close by. There was nothing wrong about this halls that I could say as it offers everything that you need for being a first year at uni!

Good accommodation, standard en suite rooms but spacious with a nice kitchen. Nice how you go through reception into a courtyard rather than building. Never had any problems and it was very easy to meet people and make friends.

The provided cleaners did not clean properly. My shower had mould in the skirting and overflowed every time I had a shower. It was also stuck on boiling hot. I filed numerous complaints about this from the moment I moved in and they mark them as completed. There was a fire where we had to be evacuated and I could not stay in my accommodation due to the smell of burning plastic. Great location as is just opposite the uni.

Everything is clean and tidy. Security is amazing and i feel really safe here. The rooms are a lot bigger than i was expecting and the flat as a whole is really nicely laid out. All appliances work well.

The rent costs far more than it should do, purely charge that much for the convince of it being on campus and keeps increasing considerably

The convince of the halls is very good being on campus, facilities are very good, except the laundry room always seems to be flooded. The receptionists are always very helpful and are there most of the time. If not they will leave a time on the door of when they will be back.

Location was excellent as it was right on campus. At night it can be noisy because of people going out and coming back. The courtyard was particularly noisy with people talking and blasting music from their car

Met some really good friends, had a lot of drink ups and funny times. The postal system there is good and also never experienced any faults unlike my new place I’m living. Also they weren’t so harsh if you couldn’t make payment which is good for students.

Common room is really good to socialise and staff are really friendly. Rooms are decent size and good value for money, right on campus so takes 2 mins to get to most lectures

Location is brilliant as it is on campus and has a friendly, open yet secure feel to it. The staff are incredibly helpful and the flats and communal areas are amazing. Everything is incredibly modern and looks super cute, I’ve met my best friends in my flat.

The halls are on campus, so you can wake up 10mins before lectures and still attend. The staff are all extremey friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. The living space is very reasonable and the people you meet are friends for life.

The staff are very friendly and the rooms are big. However the price of the accommodation is too much considering the kitchen equipment such as the oven doesn’t work very well. If you miss payments on your rent they will threaten to take away your free WiFi.

The location of this is right on campus the closest accommodation to all of the facilities. 30 seconds away from the Hawthorne, Vijay Patel and other major buildings. The experience is a very warm environment with welcoming and helpful staff that can help you settle right away. Staff always answer to calls if you're locked out to let you back in after a night out. Cleaners come every 2 weeks to clean your kitchen which is a very nice kitchen but could do with some renovation. Room is spacious with loads of storage room and I still have lots spare. Beds are comfortable and you can easily ask for replacement if needed.

A perfect location on campus which takes me only 5 mins to get to a lesson. The staff are brilliant on reception and any maintenance requests are done immediately and to a great standard. I only gave it 4 stars not 5 because of the amount of maintenance that had to be done when I first arrived. The common room and reception area are lovely and the table tennis and pool table are often in use.
