Overall a decent place to stay. Location is excellent and close to John Moore's and Uni Of campuses, and the staff are friendly. We were initially promised weekly cleans which was changed after we moved into the property which wasn't great. Whole place could do with a deep clean and a lick of paint, however for basic halls I think you get alright value for money. Bedrooms are cosy and well sized with easy to use heating. Washing facilities onsite are also handy and modern. Would recommend staying here for location alone as it's a lovely area to live in.

Good location - out of the town centre so relatively quiet and safe area but only 15 minute walk away so not too far. Room is basic as are the facilities. Suits someone who needs cheap accommodation close to the uni.

I love the location of Agnes Jones, it’s ideal for uni and has a co op, Tesco express, KFC and Subway a couple of minutes walk away, plus loads of bars, restaurants and takeaways. It’s about a 15 minute walk in to the centre of town. The staff are always friendly and leave treats regularly on the front desk for free. Everywhere is usually clean and tidy. There are sometimes issues with noise but that’s to be expected with any student halls realistically. The outside areas are well looked after and have nice benches for summer. The flats themselves are pretty basic with shared kitchen and 2 bathrooms (a 7 bed flat) but that’s reflected in the price. I’ve never had any issues with anything in my room but when my flatmates have they’ve been dealt with quickly. WiFi is quick and no issues there either. Everywhere needs a fob key to get in to so feels safe and secure. Overall I’ve been happy with Agnes Jones as my accommodation for first year.

A noisy place to live with little peace to get any work done or any sleep for that matter. and also the flat I am in is very grubby with mouse traps everywhere, broken heaters, horrible smells. Very disappointing and a waste of money

Stayed here in my first year and regretted getting a house with my flatmates in second year. I'm coming back to agnes jones for my third year as the rooms and facilities are just so much better than the house we ended up with. Advice to students, stay in halls, don't get a house, make your university life easier and nicer for yourselves.
