Socially the halls were really good. Lots of people to meet and things to do. The bedrooms were fairly big, and I didnt mind sharing bathrooms. However, there is no communal space which means the only places to chill with your friends is in the bedrooms which become small with lots of people in them. Overall would recommend though for first years at University. The food was hit and miss. The vegetarian option was good, however the carb option was chips most days. The desserts were dry and the cups were small to get drinks out of. The reception were very nice and there was a good mail system which was simple to use. The parking is free which was an extra bonus.

Great accommodation for socialising you get to know so many people living in blocks of about 30 and it being catered carni bar is good for a few drinks. Not the best location having to get the bus to uni but you soon get used to it. Facilities are old but you get what you need. Room sizes are better than expected however having a sink in the rooms would be better. That halls itself are in a great location in Liverpool as it is nice and green in the surrounding areas. There is plenty of choice with the food and lots of vegitarian options catering for everyone. It could be improved with a common room

It's quite far away from the university campus but the transport to get there is reliable. The facilities are poor for what we pay for for example only one floor has an oven and only one fridge has a tiny freezer which limits what everyone can eat. The social life is the best, the blocks are big but you get to know everyone. The rooms are a good size, the website is misleading as it says every room gets a washbasin which is untrue. There is a lot of mould and other health risks wrong for example 2 fire extinguishers and locked in a cupboard so we are unable to get to them if there's a fire. The price is expensive but breakfast and dinner is included so it is relatively fair however its one of the cheapest accommodations in liverpool which is ridiculous as its the most expensive accommodation ive known out of my friends at other unis. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else though.

Nice location but is a bit of trek to uni everyday but the bus makes it convenient enough. The facilities are varied - canteen and bar are very useful but the common room was pointless and the actual bathrooms/kitchens we're functional but left much to be desired but it is a very sociable halls and makes making friends easy!

The facilities were pretty basic, room with a single bed and shared WC. But, despite that it was the best year of my life, the banter was top notch, we got to be free and do petty much whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. Great field outside to enjoy when it’s warm playing football and drinking beers. Nurse on site, catered although food was average, still the best year of my life

The halls themselves are pretty terrible and the food is 80% chips. Also the shared bathrooms get pretty disgusting. However, there is no equal to the social experience you have. You will bond with life long friends. Also it’s auper close to Sefton Park.

The rooms are bigger than I expected, there’s plenty of showers and toilets etc. Little bit inconvenient to have to get the bus into uni every time and would be nice to have an oven on every floor but socially I’d say that it’s the best.

Social experience is great, have a lot of friends and the halls are very social. However the building is basically falling apart and is made of aspestos (probably poisoning me) food is tolerable but not great and it’s annoying being so far away from uni.

The location of Carnatic is not ideal but the social life makes up for it; 3000 students all in one place makes for a great social life. However the actual facilities are not great everything is the bare minimum and not much effort is put in but i would still recommend it as I had a great time in first year.

Great halls - unbelievable experiences both sexual and friendship wise, catered accommodation so could always sneak those one night stands into brek with me in the morning. Fantastic social life - couldn’t fault it if I tried xx

Rubbish, waste of money would not recommend. Too far away. Food was also poor. Buses were okay. People nice enough .

Firstly getting the bus to uni is a joke, theirs been bus strikes like every other week hence meaning you don't go in or pay a taxi which costs about £10. The halls itslef are pretty dog ,the room size is are alright but just the overall look of the buildings and stuff makes it grim, especially compared to the other halls. Theirs no commen room, kitchen is tiny and always has flies and shit in it. Only good thing is you get a student bar and there's loads of people to a block/flat so you're bound to find people you get along with hence making the social aspect really good.
