Old building without any social space and there are mice in most of the kitchens. Wifi is fast, rooms are not the same if you’re lucky you’ll get the big ones with paying the same money. New cross area isn’t the best but very close to the university. Bathrooms are really tiny. We can hear everything in the flat. Kitchen equipment is old and things can get broken easily.

I am having an above average time living in my halls. It offers everything I need to live exactly how I would need to. However, I know a few aspects are not up to scratch and my peers are not happy at all with. The toilet drains are often blocked and our water room shower tends to overflow. There have been mice in the kitchen. The fire alarm goes off far too often. 50% off drunk students but also because it reacts so easily to cooking. There seems to be water marks on the ceiling from the rooms above. However I do live very comfortably there, just tends to be the worse things I would mention. I love the location despite lots of ambulance sirens most night.

rooms a lot bigger than expected, which was nice! You get a - wardrobe - desk with 3 small drawers - bed - mattress - 2 shelves The bathroom is more like a pod; so don’t expect tiles. I’ve had trouble with mine; leaked, toilet came off the wall. You always flood the bathroom when you use it! Easy to socialise minus the fact there is no common area minus the courtyard, which can be a slight problem at times as you feel confinied to rooms & kitchens Kitchens dirty, old and need an update. One fridge with 4 shelves and freezer drawers between 5 people so that’s tricky! One cupboard each but only 4 drawers No kitchen stuff provided Location wise is good - bars and pubs around nearby & two tube stations around - area feels safe although some say it doesn’t look it. WiFi is dreadful unless near the router! Overall needs an update as it’s very dated and falling apart - as I said room size is good!
