Fielden House is a great accommodation as it provides spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms for an extremely affordable price, in comparison to the majority of other London halls of residences. It is positioned above the curve and village shop, giving you easy access to food and necessities. Whilst also being on campus, meaning you are a short walk from lecture halls and the library. My only criticism would be that the flats are too large, and sharing a kitchen with 10 people is sometimes difficult.

Fielden is a very social hall, but I wouldfault it by saying there is no common area for people to socialise without leaving the building. The rooms and new, and the kitchen is well equipped. It is central to campus so perfect to access any area you need

The room was presentable upon arrival and the condition of it was very good. Although small all the amenities were there. The lack of socialising between flats within the same building was a sad issue but thankfully having a flat of eleven made that not matter too much. Having the cleaners come in once a day was definitely a bonus but I am glad they didn't come into rooms. Maintenance problems were dealt with swiftly.

I would like it if there was more social interactions maybe. It felt closed off and I’m from the US so the difference was shocking. I was also expecting laundry to be included in the rent for how much we were paying for it too. The WiFi runs fine but it can suddenly disconnect sometimes which is annoying, plus it doesn’t work in the entry. Your flat mates can leave/enter anytime and so they can be kind of loud so it’s not ideal for light sleepers like me. Especially, you can hear everything outside or inside your room through the door otherwise your walls are pretty sound proof.

Bathroom are quite small but rooms are a good size generally. social experience is so good; having the communal kitchen is a helpful way to socialise as you are always likely to bump into flatmates and start talking.

Located on the centre of campus 5 mins from the library, it’s above the curve so if you get your halls catered it’s 1 minute to the resteraunt. The fire alarms were very sensitive and on 2 occasions went of during early hours of the morning (2am ish), the elevator also broke for the last 2 months of uni but was sorted by the time we moved out.

I opted to stay in an en suite room and in my opinion, it defiantly worked out better than having to share a bathroom with my roommates. The location was perfect, right in the middle of campus meaning walking to lectures took less than a minute! The room in itself was pretty good with a decent bed, spacious desk and reasonably sized wardrobe. The en-suite is pretty small but after hearing horror stories from people who shared bathrooms, i would rather it be small than have none.
