Close to Eltham and Bexley. Close to rail and a bus ride from nearest tube station to central London. Also a uni hopper bus into Greenwich. The rooms are ok. I stayed in the slightly more expensive ones with my own shower room/toilet.

Extremely expensive for what you get. The rooms aren't very spacious and whilst you get a bathroom it's just a wet room which can become difficult to use. The cleaner who cleans the kitchen once a week would rarely do a proper job and the maintenance company were not the most eager to help if you had any issues with your flat. We had to get our flats fumigated for silverfish several times and the bathroom had a bad odour which the maintenance team denied knowing about and did nothing to help.

The location is great very close to central London so easy to travel info central as it's only a 30 min train. Also bus stop just outside the campus which is very useful! However the campus is so unlively, and it's very boring. There's no nightlife on this campus which is surprising for a university campus. The weekends during the night there's no one to be seen which is so depresssing. The facilities are good but the campus shop is way too expensive especially as students live here. The flats are tiny and a bit suffocating especially the size of the room as it's like your trapped in a box but that's a personal opinion and it's not the campus' fault as all uni halls are similarly sized but I just don't think it's worth the money we pay.

The location is perfect. An easy bus ride to Bird College where I spend 5 days a week training for my degree. Station is close by so easy for a night out in London.

I love the Avery Hill halls of residence, there's a great campus community which is strengthened by the SU club sparrows. I have lived in halls on Avery Hill for all three of my university years which is just testament to how much people love it. There are some minor issues with security every now and again, and slow response to fire alarms in the middle of the night but never the less I love it. Would 100% reccomend Avery Hill life. Social fun!
