When we arrived, kitchen was a state, with milk that had been left rotting over the summer. One of our toilets leaks and paint is chipped everywhere. Hot water and electricity often cuts out.

I really enjoyed staying at London House. It was very safe with good facilities and the location was perfect. Sainsbury’s is right next door so whatever you needed you could go out and get. The only thing is that it felt slightly excluded from the other halls that were inside the university.

At first when I moved into lindop house, I immediately wanted to move out. It felt like i was living in a low class motel or hostel with the way the rooms are set up, the bathroom and the kitchen, it just did not feel like it would be a comfortable place to stay in. I also felt a bit left out due to the location being on the other side of campus. To be honest, when we all first moved in, everyone living there sort of bonded together by complaining about the place and that's how we got to know everyone. However after having lived here for a whole year I have to say this place has grown up to me and I'm a bit sad I have to go. It turns out the location is great because of the Sainsbury right next door and it is still close to be considered on campus meaning I only have to wake up 10 mins before my lectures. I assume that the rest of the rooms are also going to have the makeover flat 1 and 2 had so I'm just bummed out I wasn't lucky enough to be put in those rooms.

The building is I quite a bad condition and is really old. My flat had had a lot of problems since I arrives. Most of the problems were fixed quite quick though.

Location a bit off the main campus. Rooms look very old fashioned. Cleaning team is really good. Social life is also excellent but the flats could benefit from refurbishment.
