My building in loring hall is obviously newly renovated, which I feel is to compensate for being next to the train tracks and on the other side of the building is a primary school. The noise is something you get used to, hence my 4 star rating as I feel everything else is great! We get our kitchen cleaned once a week and bins taken out for us everyday except for the weekends, which I think is fabulous. We are about a 30 min tube ride to central London, so perfectly placed.

Flats are made of eight rooms, each having a private bathroom and one shared kitchen. There are two fridges, two freezers and two ovens, there is enough cupboards for every resident. Rooms are not tiny and rather comfortable with a good WiFi access. Loring hall is just 2 minutes away from the campus and just opposite the new cross gate station. Staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. The only problem is that laundry room which is not big enough and the laundry cards often don't work.

Cold in winter, boiling in the summer. Good location, but I got a far bigger room and better flat for only £40 more a month. 8 is too many people to live in the same quarters with only one kitchen and no dishwasher. Soundproof doors are goddamn essential. Also that bathrooms can br aired and are towards the outside wall so that it doesnt get moudly - but I guess that would just be common sense. Our kitchen was newly renovated but im not sure about the rest of the accomodation. Bigger freezers for eight people.

It was a ting and a half.

The cleaning services in our halls was really good but when our kitchen facilities had issues (broken oven/toaster/iron etc) the efforts by the maintenance team to sort the issue was incredibly slow and tiresome. Security was very good apart from their attitude towards visitors. They could be quite patronising and rude when it's obvious that you're just bringing someone you know round for dinner or a sleepover. As someone who was paying to stay there, I don't feel like i was respected when it came to bringing people over to where I live.

There have been some issues with security being a bit over bearing and shutting down parties, but we appreciate them being there as it makes the campus feel really safe. The rooms are small but well equipped and the kitchens are large with plenty of storage space. Location is perfect, literally 2 mins from uni if you take the short cut past the laundry. Socially it's amazing, lots of fun and so many people. We don't have a social area though, only the car park, but we make do with that

No social space for everyone in the different blocks to hang out. Some of the blocks have been refurbished and other's haven't however everybody pays the same price. Fairly good sized rooms, ensuite bathrooms, large kitchen which gets cleaned once a week.

Social experience: hated it was like mean school girl setting. Made my life a misery and did want to quit because of this. But i changed halls and the people were more welcoming
