Before arrival I was very concerned about student accommodation. Once I had arrived however, everything turned out okay. The room has everything you could need and so does the kitchen. The people I have met are all very friendly. If people are questioning whether to stay on campus or not, I would 100% recommend you do as it makes life easier and also more fun!

Given that QMUL is the only campus university in London, the halls that occupy the campus were, in my opinion, a 4.5/5 overall rating. Being in the heart of East London for £155 a week, and being able to get to lectures in 30 seconds was just amazing for my first year. Socially however, each accommodation block didn’t have a social area in which all residents could enjoy which would have made it easier to meet other people in your halls if you were maybe unhappy in your flat! All-in-all though, a great living experience for my first year at university.

Very good location on campus, very close to the village shop, laundry and The Curve canteen. Actual flat room is decent with an ensuite, could’ve done with an extra bit of clothing storage. The shared kitchen is okay however not really comfortable to sit and socialise for a long time. There is also a cleaner who takes the bins out everyday and cleans the surfaces once a week. The court is good as all the kitchens have large windows to see where the best social is.

Nice place. Rooms are organized into flats of 6 dorms. They are ensuite with a kitchen to share between all of you. It's co-ed. The walls are not the thickest so think twice before blaring your metal music at 2am but overall bbt a bad place to be. The building is at the far end of the campus so there's quite a bitvof walking to do when you want to get groceries or leave campus but in the other hand, it's a quieter and safer house to be in compared to hatton house (right by the main road)

Such a lovely vibe. Always being cleaned and right next to the smokers area which is a bonus for those who smoke. Lovely view of the gherkin and the city from the rooms at the back, which added the finishing touch to my stay. Kitchens were well spaced out with great facilities.

Days in Maurice Court were the good old days. It was the perfect combo between having private space and friendly flatmates - my own room and bathroom and a kitchen shared with 5 others, both English and internationals. All of that for an absolutely all right price considering the location in central London and minutes away from two different tube stops. The English dream. And that's not even mentioning the possibility to wake up 5 minutes before the start time of your morning lectures.

location is very useful if your course is entirely on the mile end campus not sharing a bathroom is nice but it's a wet room which may freak people out

Good building. Great view. Nice people. Satisfactory facilities. Good bed to fuck on, but bad for sleep. Lots of weed dealers nearby.

As our part of the building is slightly detached from the rest of the halls, we are a little secluded from the others halls however we socialise well between us. The wifi signal is particularly weak, especially as if we move to the kitchen from our rooms, or vice verse, then the wifi disconnects as the signal is so poor. The location is perfect as it' only takes a few minutes to walk to classes. The rooms are a good size and there is lots of storage space, particularly helpful to be able to store suitcases under the bed. The kitchen has all the basic necessities and everything works perfectly. Overall very pleasedz
