Raffles House

This student accommodation was highly disappointing by the end of the first Semester. The rooms are new and ok so that is a bonus, however the noise in this accommodation is not ok. People will be partying until late and you can hear their music as there are very thin walls, also people smoke in their rooms or outside and all of it comes inside your room. The kitchens are left dirty by other students you share them with, which is extremely disrespectful as they do not clean up after themselves. Students throw up in the garden and leave a mess all of the time in the courtyard we would all like to share and keep clean. I recommend this student accommodation if you want to have fun and be focused on your school work as your neighbors will make it hard for you to so. Definitely moving out next year, however good place to meet new people.

Living in halls has been good as I have made many friends and that’s why I enjoy my time here. The building however is not so good. There are leaks in the ceilings to the point where the ceiling has actually fallen down. The water fluctuates between boiling hot and warm, there isn’t really any cold water. Basically it’s not worth the money that you pay for it. But this is just on Raffles House, I have no idea about other accommodations in London.

It’s definitely too far for students who studying in central campuses. The price is too high for the room size you get. Some of the receptionists are very rude and very NOT friendly.
