The social aspect was unbeatable; however, the building was on the verge of collapse. It was in a poor state, covered in cracks and the interiors were dated and not fit for purpose.

I was wavering between a 2 and a 3 but decided Raymont is only worth 2 stores because of the lack of facilities, cleanliness, comfort and noise. The best thing about my experience at halls was meeting so many great people, lifelong friends. I also loved the location which is very surburban and green. The halls has since been renovated since I was there however it is still under renovation while I lived there and therefore there was constant noise from the construction site (aka the halls). We were rarely allowed to use the common room, which was usually locked. The kitchen was filthy, mice infested with only one working cooker to share between 10.

Room is small but nice, building work at the beginning of term is atrocious. Good space kitchens, nice social rooms with big TV. Lots of activities. Pest control problem.

it was decent, if u meet a good group you'll have a really fun year because security is quite lax (lots of parties) but the halls themself dont have much to offer
