The rooms in Cavendish are great, wi-fi is good, kitchen space is great especially in a 4 person flat on the 3rd floor! Overall a great accommodation!

Beaut location to the uni buildings and city centre. Lush, modern rooms and kitchen but you have to make a solid effort to socialise outside of your flat. Flats of 12/13 are great for first year and you meet so many different people and make loads of connections.

I live in a flat shared by 13 people, we have 3 bathrooms, 2 of which have showers in. We have 3 fridges and freezers and mostly enough space for all of us. Moving into halls was the perfect decision for me, although my flat is not amongst my social circle - we just seem to be very different - halls is the perfect place to meet people and socialise. As quite an outgoing person I love being around people, living among ao many people for so long, you get to know each other quickly and know yourself better along the process. Whether its having a cup of tea, cooking dinner for one another, poppin to the shops together or pinching a roll up from the person next door, halls create oppurtunities for you to grow along side eachother and gain support in such a big milestone in your life. And who better to help you through the process of adjusting than those who are in the same boat. All in all my experience of halls is one I would recommend, things get tricky; arguements about whose drunk whose alcohol, eaten whoevers food, you wont ger a long with everyone, alot of the time its noisy and sometimes you can feel lonely. But, its important to know that there are and can be problems in any point of your life but being surrounded my people who can relate and understand what youre going through makes the journey all the more enjoyable, and in my own experience you meet true friends who appreciate you, just the way tou are. Living in halls was a brilliant decision I made when I moved to Manchester and I can honestly say I dont regret it one bit.

Life in uni halls Is definitely an experience. It has helped me make friends not only in my flat but in the social areas too. The students reps also set up social events as well to get us to be more involved

Wasn't what I expected. Shared a kitchen with about 16 other students, all of which were messy as hell. Had food stolen, plates used by others then not even cleaned. 1 bathroom was shared between 5/6 of us. No sink in the bathroom so you had to go back into your own room to use the sink in there. Surely that's just common sense when it comes to hygiene? Went home the first weekend cause I'd caught some nasty bug, which I wasn't surprised by. Safe to say it wasn't for me.

best location. great sociallife. best facilities as just been refurbished. two minutes away from uni. decent people living here as it is not too cheap and not too expensive. basically like cambridge halls but refurbished with nice stuff. only bad thing is the fire alarm goes off about every week twice during the night

The location is dead on the centre of all saints campus which is sick, showers are cool except you share with 6 people. Got a premium plus room so was actually massive compared to everyone else's for an extra £8 a week but shittly had a single bed but well worth the money
