Best accommodation! The location is amazing, a short walk away from uni and so close to town, so no need to ever get a taxi after a night out. The rooms are spacious and really nice, with a 3/4 bed. There’s a big kitchen and living space too, so perfect for socialising.

The View is an exceptional student accommodation. The ensuites are spacious but are only available to first-year university students I lived four years of my university life at The View. The last three years, I lived in the Gold Studio, which is very nice, and is the best in terms of price as compared to other nearby studios including Vita, St James and the Verde. Location is the most convenient as it is right beside the Business School, so if you are a NUBS student, the View is the perfect place to live.

Rooms are standard, decent size, with a nice bathroom. Kitchen lacks storage space and is not designed for 6 people. The oven and hobs are terrible. Rent is ridiculous for what you actually get.

The bedroom/bathroom was really nice - very modern. The kitchen was also nice and modern but more storage would have been better - this applied to the bedroom too. It felt very safe with security and reception. It wasn't the most sociable halls though.

Really great halls. The location is fantastic, about 5-10 minute walk to uni depending on where you are. Close to the shops, and sits above a Tesco express for any late night essentials. Plenty to do and the quality of the rooms/flats are great!

My room was really big, nice view and having an ensuite was great! The kitchen and dining area was also really nice to be honest I can't fault the actual facilities I just felt a bit lonely there it isn't very social at all. Maybe i was just unlucky with my flatmates though but it seemed like that was generally how it was.

Rooms big enough. Kitchen not too bad sized. Lots of modern amenities. Could be more socialable. Around 10-15 minutes walk to newcatsle University which makes it easily accessible. Also a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Overall I would recommend however it is not the cheapest of accommodations so this should be bared in mind. Also next to st James park so noise on matchdays.

Brilliant central location to Newcastle city centre, close to retail and entertainment! Only a 5/10 min walk to big market so saves taxis home after nights out! Lots of effort made by the accommodation for socialising such as free burger nights and events. Nothing beats the complementary coffee on a morning either to keep you awake through 9ams! Rooms and facilities are fab as well!

Location really good for nights out and if you're in the businesss school for lectures. The halls are pretty quiet during the week and a few flats have parties on the weekend

Living in the view was very convenient for me as it is only a ten minute walk from the dental school. The halls are very modern and nice however it is not a very social halls of residence

Situated a 10 minute walk to campus and to the train station so perfect for those wanting to travel home often. The flat itself was nice and modern, although the drains in the en suite started to smell and the electric hobs aren't great. Social experience wasn't amazing since anyone coming in late at night in the corridor could be easily heard and was often woken up.

Really good value for money even if it’s a bit expensive, as it says in the name the view is great if you’re in one of the top flats you get a view over the whole of Newcastle. Only a 15 minute walk to uni and if you’re in the medical or dental school it’s pretty much as close as you can get

The View is well situated, just a five minute walk from campus and even closer to the city centre. The building itself has a very modern feel and the on site facilities are very useful - Namely the launderette, though it has to be said its very pricey and there is a lack of machines at certain times of the day. The flats themselves are very spacious, and the en suite bathrooms make life much more comfortable. The beds are a decent size, and any maintenance required if often undertaken as soon as reported to reception. The only issues I've experienced have been with heating, since our radiators on the eleventh floor have gone for long spells without being on, and the WiFi is often intermittent. The post situation is very simple though, and staff are quick to notify you when a parcel arrives in your name. Overall, the View is worth the rental costs despite being so expensive

Rooms spacious with big desk and double beds with good storage room underneath. Social area downstairs normally quiet but opportunity to play PlayStation and use pool table. Washing machines downstairs have a queue at busy times but normally 15 minutes at the most. Best location out of all the halls at Newcastle, right in city centre and next to business school.

The rooms and kitchens are really nice with plenty of space. Great view from all the windows and in a fantastic location. Reception staff are very friendly and always leaving free food/drinks out for residents

Excellent location. Nice bedroom and ensure layout and storage. However WiFi is very bad, there is no extractor fan in the kitchen which makes the whole flat and your clothes smell.

Good experience, close to town, but also the uni, if you're doing business it's literally a 30sec walk to the front door. Tesco's next door - a bit pricey but okay for the one thing you forgot at the shops. Rooms are all decent size and ensuite. only downside was sometimes quite noisy with football traffic/ambulances/bar in hotel next to the view.

Brilliant location, only a 10 minute walk to uni/into town. Decent size room with en suite and a good size kitchen/living area, big TV in there! There was a common room available for everyone in the building which was nice, but I never used it. Sometimes poor WiFi speed. However these halls were far far too expensive and not worth the money and stress. There was lots of nice cheaper options available.
